At my store we ticketed: 40" Samsung LCD 42" Samsung Plasma 46" Samsung LCD 32" Dynex LCD 42" Dynex Plasma 42" LG LCD 50" Panasonic Plasma 42" Sony 52" Samsung-Crazy deal Samsung Blu Ray I think that is all of them. I know these cause I ticketed them myself. At least at my store we have a lot more Dynex and Samsung tvs than the rest. Panasonic (10) and Samsung 52" (4) were low in (quantity). But our warehouse are stacked with them aka 800 units for around 20 BB stores in Colorado. So make them order it for you!
  2. No one leaves the line. The employees will walk the line and talk to everyone in line.
  3. At least at my store I will doing tvs. I am going to start at the front of the line and asked everyone if they are waiting for a tv. They say yes, I ask which one? They say something like 32" LG for X amount of dollars. Awesome, since I have the tickets, I give them one. It isn't that difficult.
  4. Ticketed items will only be for the early bird specials, so there is no way that you have a list that will take you ten minutes to read. When the employees walk buy we will say what type of tickets we have a.k.a Home Theater, Computers, etc. But we won't walk out their like a beer salesmen at a baseball game, "Wow wants a 50" plasma for 899?" Because we will waste a lot of the tickets on people that will just snatch them up.
  5. At our store we are not doing any price matching/returns on BF, we posted it two weeks ago. The reason for it is to free up every register to get everyone as quickly as possible.
  6. We haven't heard anything on the ad. All the planning that we are doing at our store is based on what we think we will see in the ad. Almost always the ad gets leaked on the internet before it gets to employees at BBY.
  7. this is my 3rd holiday with best buy and have never heard of any other discount besides our normal employee(5% over cost)
  8. I am a supervisor at BB and one time we had a situation like this with a $300 camera but it was purchased with a home theater system so it kinda blended in. When the customer came back in our manager was in shock how honest the person was so when he re-rang the product he also gave the customer a $100 gift card.
