I can't wait! One of my favorite days of the year!! Not sure how many more I have in me though. Been at it for 15 years and as the years pass it gets harder and harder to get up so early!!

We have a local "Don't waist your money" guy on one of the news stations who just talked about this the other day. He said what The Legend above just said. The company is in the hands of a liquidator, and in most cases, the prices are actually marked up before they are marked down! The liquidator marks the price up to the manufacturers suggested price and then starts to offer percents off from that price. So, if you have a normally priced item of $25 and the liquidator marks it up to the msrp of $30 and then offers 10% off, you are still paying more than the original normal price. I think that awful!

It's called the Friends & Family Discount. On the coupon "Guilt-Free Shopping 40% off Entire Store". So it's not just for one item (yippee!). And I see now that it can also be used online too! I'm going to have to open a new credit card for this! The fine print says it is "Valid on Saturday Oct. 25th and Sunday Oct. 26th only. Valid on sale and regular price merchandise. Not valid on gift boxing, taxes and shipping charges. May not be combined with any other promotions, discounts or coupons etc." It's actually 2 coupons, one meant for you and one meant for a friend.

I went shopping at a local CJ Banks store this past Saturday, and upon checkout was given a coupon for this coming weekend, October 25 and 26, for 40% off everything in the store! I returned my most expensive item and kept the cheap one. I plan on going back with the coupon! I love this store, but the prices are sooooo high! This will be great!
