yes I have to organize the gift of sight program at work(lenscrafters) and I get all kinds of donations from grocery stores, donut shops, gas stations(I got a local gas station last year to donate 50-$5 gas cards) ask for donations in person and write a thank you note when done this will keep them donating year after year

they also have a bakugan rack that holds them which I cannot seem to find either.... this seems to be more popular than the toys.....

But with a budget of $50 that might be hard... try to get donations but start asking at beg. of oct. this is usually the start of the quarter for most businesses and they are more willing to give and try local owners as opposed to national chains(who have to go through channels to get donations approved)

worst case.... I have extra and have to sell them on ebay or craigslist... still better than frantically searching on Christmas eve

That's what i am thinking.... They come out with a new DVD 12-2-08 and the "second generation" of toys. My DS5 and his friends all sit around and play with them... He hasn't touched his Pokemon cards in weeks

take deodorant... we tend to stink after sleeping on the ground, running, pushing and shoving Also I seperate my money.... I have different envelopes with the store names on it with my budget money in it.. helps with overshopping and keeps you from having all your money in one spot and risk losing it(like i did one year)

Great deals.... I got revesible hats for the twins $2.00 and mermaid towel for $7.00... lots more and all 90% off :) School stuff was 30% but sales lady said it would go to 70% in OCT.

Oh yea my DS5 wants Bakugan and I can't seem to find them so if you hear of any LMK

maybe ask them to "write a letter to Santa" and see if you can fulfill one or two of their requests(within reason) We did this with a shelter a few years back and it was a hit. You would be surprised what some people want( one man just wanted a new pillow to call his own )

I have to hide my husbands stuff at the neighbor's house.. he is worse the the kids. I put everything in her garage and she helps us wrap all the kids stuff christmas eve... she has no family and looks forward to it and I get help wrapping

I was at the outlet in Jeffersonville. OH last year at midnight.... the deals were "fair" not super and the lines were VERY LONG!!! not worth it to me for being tired for the BIG morning. If you are looking for something specific... Coach\DB purse.. pottery barn stuff... I wouldn't go again

ME!! we are just staying home.... no extended family :D DH was sick of me whining last year about leaving MIL(I was like a kid... Can we go yet?) Any easy Turkey tips are appreciated... since this will be my first one
