Besides the basics, the things I never I leave the house with. Friends is the only one I name as of right now.

My parents live way up north and I live in South Florida, so I have her send me the money that she is wanting to spend and I go black friday shopping for my kids from her. It is so much cheaper then buying them up there and shipping them here. AND she hates black friday shopping!!! I know I can't believe it either!!!

 

Anyone else have relatives do this??

Maybe they just want to sleep on BF. Most sale Ads are national. Difference is sales taxes.

I won't be traveling on Thanksgiving. But I am going to Vegas 10 days after Black Friday. So I limit myself from spending too much.

Way too much hassle just to sell food. I say worry about yourselves because most of the people won't care, they just want their stuff.

Usually when Thanksgiving or when all the ads are out.

We didn't have one last year, but we had one either 2 or 3 years ago (when things weren't nearly as busy as they are now).

It's so hard and far to predict. Chicago always had below the average on BF. Never above.

I rather get it on Amazon. No tax and free shipping. Not only that it's under retail too.

About $50. But I use my debit card and credit card most of the time. Plus some stores have cards only lanes.

I used RewardZone certificates on BF with no problems. I also used coupons on some DVDs on BF.

Too much trouble for it. Those food trucks should go to plazas and sell food unless they started already.

I went once like 3 years ago. I just bought their Pepsi that was on sale.

Last year, I went to 4 cities. Chicago, Niles, Norridge, and Skokie. Probably just 2 this year.

Sometimes, they're quick with USPS and other times, it can get really slow with USPS. With UPS and Fedex, it's consistent.

 

I wish they had Prime like Amazon though.
