I too am looking for new counter top microwave. Mine was broken in a move to Texas. Not even sure on what brands are good. It's been 15 years sinced I purchased one. Not even sure on what features are now available on microwave. Help.

I just purchased one a few hours ago from my local Target. The Target employee said they just got a shipment in this morning. There were several left when I purchased mine.

I have done Angel tree in past years, but this is the best suggestion yet. Not because of misbehaved children but it is a humbling experience for the kids. I helps give that much needed reality check that is sometimes needed with spoiled children. Also with the economy the way it is, I am so sure there will be more kids than ever on those trees this year. My family will each grab an angel of choice from the tree and purchase holiday gifts for them. This is definitely what Christmas is about. Thanks!

Doesn't IKEA sell those for kids. They may even be availble for purchase online from IKEA. Not sure of price but I know it was much cheaper than $700.

I used to work for a company that I had to request donations for door prizes for the holiday parties. You'd be surprized what companys are willing to donate, all you have to do is ask. There are more willing to donate items than not, it's free advertising and just another write off for them. An example of some of the thing I got donated where gift cards for merchandise and food, free massages, art, ipods, etc. I would suggest you get started immediately though.

We have two trees. The Main tree is bronze and cream w/ white lights with and angelic theme. The second one is the kids tree. It's everything nastalgic including handmande ornaments from the kids from past years.
