Family friendly would be good, since it is a family party. :) My FIL is turning 60, and we are having a party for him. Making the baskets for raffles, and any money raised will be his gift. :) We are also doing a 50/50 raffle for the DJ. Thanks for all the great ideas. I will be on the basket hunt starting tomorrow, and I may finally clip the AC Moore/Michael's/Joann's coupons this Sunday to buy some baskets!

I need to make some baskets of goodies for raffle prizes. I'm not sure what kind of things I should put in them, and want to make it not too expensive. I thought of you guys right away. lol
The people who will be there are mostly adults. Not looking to spend more than $40 per basket and looking to make about 5 of them. I need to have them finished by the middle of March.

My son has had an ipod or iphone since he was 13. He has not lost it yet. :) His grandfather did step on his ipod touch, but it still works, just has a very cracked screen. lol
He mostly uses his iphone now.

I buy my son's pants at Lands End. They are good quality, and they seem to be comfortable. My son won't wear anything with zippers or buttons either, so finding pull on husky pants is really hard!

We went to the local town hall Human Services department and adopted a family. It was so much fun shopping for them, and imagining their faces on xmas morning. :) I even found really cute felt bags that said Express Delivery from the North Pole on them. I hope that family has a really Merry Christmas! :)

Make sure to get on their mailing list. I get a coupon in the mail about twice a year for 25% off my entire purchase. :) My last mailing was in time for xmas gifts, for myself!

The post office has moving kits, and there is usually a lowe's or home depot coupon you can get mailed to you if you sign up at the url listed in the kit. It is for an additional 10% off. Also, they sell coupons on Ebay. GL and hope you get the best deal!

Check TigerDirect.com. They had refurb 20 GB xboxs for $199. Not a bad deal. My DS 14 is pretty hard core into gaming and has not run out of space yet. He literally has over 50 360 games, and has not complained about being out of HD space.

I did it yesterday, and had no problems. Ironically, the store that I didn't have a receipt for gave me less hassle than the stores I did have a receipt for, Best Buy and ToysRUs.

I saw a bunch of these yesterday at Babies R Us, so if you are looking for one, you might want to look there. However, IMHO, it seems overpriced, even at $50.

I sent my FIL shopping with my DS5 to pick out gifts for us and his brother. I don't know what we got yet, but his brother is getting Lucky Charms wrapped up because he says he loves them. :) So cute at this age. I'm sure everyone will laugh when that gift gets unwrapped!

The same can be said for DJs. Nothing is on sale for disc jockeys... nor musicians for that matter. I really wish Guitar Center did BF.
Guitar Center mailed me a post card for 15% off on Black Friday, or 10% off Sat and Sun so they are offering a deal. Are you on their mailing list?

Why not try taking your current vacuum to the repair shop? I bet it is a quick fix, and that will run you under $70.

Make sure to do your research. Price both your vehicle if you are trading, and the one you wish to purchase at Edmunds.com, etc. Make sure you know the value. Bring the print outs with you. Negotiate everything separatly, and DO NOT tell them what you want to pay. Don't allow them to know you LOVE the pacifica, as if they know you love it, they know they have you. Finally, don't buy the junk they try to add on, ie warranty, tire coverage, etc, as it is a rip off, and you can purchase those things if you want them for much less money on the internet, even the warranty, from a reputable dealer, if you research it. And finally, be prepared to walk away. It speaks VOLUMES to the salesman when your feet head to the door. :) Also, if you are trading the Cavalier, do you have a CarMax near you? I got about 2k more than the dealer was offering for the car I was going to trade from CarMax.

I bought one at big lots a couple of months ago. I don't know if they still have them, but I paid $99, and it has hot, cold and room temp water. Also might want to check Lowes and Home Depot as they carry them, and you can get a 10% off lowes coupon at the Post office in the moving kit. Hope that helps. :)
