I just put peach cobbler in the oven. just one more dessert to go on. plan on putting it on after the cobbler comes out of the oven

We've been cooking already today. getting desserts and some sides already done. just put turkey in about an hour ago.

wouldn't think twice about using the discount as long as it's something that would give them anyway. If you feel too bad about the discount you can use the money saved for another gift on that person. We've got the ability to get some things on wholesale we'll definetly be using some of those for gifts for people who'd we would have given that kind of gift to anyways. Just our 2 cents worth

our walmart has so rude employees I usually just get smart back with them then they quit. It's so hard not to say something back. It's usually the ones working the floor being rude here though not the cashiers. althought sometimes they are rude too.

don't ever think we've ever gave presents on thanksgiving but if its something you want to do go for it. it'd be a nice suprise!

nah dono't think anyone is cheating thanksgiving. the walmart here usually starts putting up christmas in later september. This year it was late october so it started later there are christms decorations popping up all over town here, we're going to put ours up before long too!

we like the flashing lights better too. The last 2 years we've had a fiber optic tree. they are cute!

yep my dad is hard to buy for. he won't tell you what he wants. he likes tools but he has so much of them don't want to buy more of them. so what to get him is always up in the air.

we buy some but not a lot. mostly candy canes.

ours is santa clause too. but love its a wonderful life, a christmas carol also to just name a few lol

a magazine subscription players cards seasonal tickets game tickets favorite team memborbilia (sp?) super bowl tickets for football (am sure would be pretty expensive though) just some idea's!

I usually store christmas gifts in plastic bins either in the bedroom or in the kitchen(we have a big kitchen)

yep will admit it we usually are one of the ones who leaves the lights up. We usually take the other decorations down though. Its just easier to leave the lights up. although this year am going to have to pull them down and redo them. some of the bulbs have burnt out and gotta find out which ones or get new ones.

we don't usually do a theme either. We put up multiple colored lights and white lights at times too.

oh wow a table top one would be perfect, at least it could be inside no worries about someone messing with it then! to bad they are out

I usually start late wrapping gifts, last couple years have been wrapping the day before we open gifts. hoping to do better this year. don't think its to early to start, one less thing to worry about

we usually do lights and candy canes down the entry sidewalk. might do more this year. Kinda undecided on that

think they are deflated where people put them down during the day and reinflate at night time. could be wrong but thats what we always thought

Does anyone have the christmas inflatables? If so how do you like them? Ashley wanted the grinch last year. Was thinking about getting it this year but am not sure how well they hold up if it gets windy. and it gets pretty windy here. Also the new ones they have with the snowglobes are so cute! Just not sure. So what do y'all think of them?

there are usually a bunch of lights on display here in town. We take Ashley to see them, she is usually in awe over all the lights. everything is beautiful!
