  1. The $249 price is the everyday price for the Wii....if you can find one.
  2. Anyone here have a Kodak Z712?? http://reviews.cnet.com/digital-cameras/kodak-easyshare-z712-is/4505-6501_7-32412495.html?tag=prod.txt.1 The reviews seem very good on CNET and other sites out there. We are needing to replace our existing camera and would like to be able to take find a camera with image stabliaztion that takes good family type pictures (including night) with a good zoom in the $200-$250 price range.
  3. aren't dinner & supper the same meal?!?!
  4. I found a Star Wars Lego Set -- Slave 1 (Boba Fett's ship) that had been $50 for $25 today..... I've never seen Star Wars lego's on clearance before.
  5. Kids baseball caps were 75% off (at least some of them) at the Nora Target store in Indianapolis.
  6. I never seem to find that great of clearance at the Nora store.......I was out of town when you 1st posted this so I missed the 75% off toys you referenced.
  7. I'll be on the week before heading to the eastern side....I'm guessing you must be going west? I'll try to keep it in good shape for you!
  8. When are you going? I'm going on a cruise on that ship in May.
  9. I'm not sure of how RC run things, but a couple of notes on your point. When we went last time on Carnival back in 2000... At the 1st night dinner @ 530 or so (I forget the exact time) many people didn't have their luggage yet. As such, many people had to wear to dinner what they wore on the plane. So most of us were in jeans and such. After that night, while there were a few in jeans I don't think anyone was in shorts. Carnival also sold pictures of people from the formal nights. Actually, Carnival offers pictures for sale of darn near everything you do on the cruise except when you go to the bathroom!!
  10. Has anyone been on the Carnival Valor? We are going in a few months, and would love to hear any thoughts. We went on the Carnival Paradise a few years ago, and enjoyed it. We are also not "high class" and wouldn't miss a wine steward. We had a good time, enjoyed the shows and food and recommended it highly. Unless you have weather issues or something similar, I think almost any cruise would be a fun time. Carnival is a cheaper cruise, compared to Disney, RC and many others but I don't know that most people will really miss whatever extras you get (if any) with the other cruise lines in exchange for the higher bill.
  11. I was able to use it today on a camcorder after all.... much thanks to Ross for posting it.
  12. I am hoping to find something from Best Buy in order to use my AMEX wish certificate I won last weekend. It expires 1/17/07 so hopefully I can find one I like before then!!
  13. bummer....it doesn't seem to be good on camcorders!!
  14. The recall has been in place for awhile. They're still being sold at the major stores, which I'm sure is why Amazon is still selling them. We have some, and like any small toys their is a choking hazard since the pieces could be swallowed and some of the rods do lose their magnets. My 4 & 7 year olds play with them all the time and have for a couple of years.
  15. Magnetix 70 Count, Metallic Gold NOW $6.99 Was $19.99 ---This item is coming up @ 19.99 for me? There isn't a code or something we need to use is there? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0001KU8R4/ref=nosim/10108121979-20
  16. It' gone now.....as are a lot of stores in Union Station.
  17. The store isn't going to want to mess with an exchange and the extra costs they would have to get the "wrong" item back and then send you what was ordered. It was likely upgraded to complete the order, since they ran out of the model your ordered. To those that talk about "conscious".....you didn't do anything wrong and IMO shouldn't feel bad even if the item was mistake and not an upgrade that your received. You didn't intentionally deceive them to send you a product you didn't actually pay for. Items at many stores don't ring up at the ticket price....some ring higher, some lower. Many stores when changing prices don't get all the items retagged due to the manual process of it, so if an item rings up less then what I expect I just assume it is on sale and feel happy to have saved a few extra $$$s.
  18. I took the Target ad to customer service, and asked if they would price match the ad for the 2.99 price. She said no problem....and the best part was I could avoid the long WM lines and there was no one else but me at customer service.
