Do you know what pokemon cards are? (yes, showing my age). But anyway they are playing cards that are magnetic-ish and you toss a small ball over the top of them and when the ball hits a card, the ball opens and turns into a creature. (like a transformer). They cards have different levels and ability numbers on them and they higher numbers win. This is sort of like dungeons & drangons. It's easy to play but that is the best way I can explain it. hth

My TRU has a ton of bakugans. They even had a day where the kids could come and play in the store, it was a total flop. The company sent 5 sets of the same guys and the same cards. Now how do you explain to a 7 year old that no matter how many times they play and who they battle, they will tie! Then I try to explain that the sets are different and someone will actually win but my son said it was really a dumb game. apparently here in so. il 62918, bakugon is a total bust. TRu has a ton of everything. Te manager said the merchandise didn't move and of 10/25 it still hasn't.

I got the pearl ds lite with the pink breast cancer ribbon and I couldn't get the $20 discount either. It's a great price though and I bought it anyway. I am wondering if this will be a BF deal this year. The ds lites have been out for , what?, a few years now. If it is a BF deal, I need 3 more for my boys for xmas. Yes, these have video games like any other system. They are just a portable gaming system. Depending on how old your kids are it may be a better route to buy gameboy advance games. They have them at Toysrus for $9.99 in a pack of two. They ds plays ds games as well as gameboy advance games. hth.

I thought the metallic rose took the place of the coral pink? No stores near me ( target, walmart, tru) carry that color anymore.

They changed the way shipping works for the 3 companies now. You can add them to your cart and get on price shipping for all 3 places. I don't know if the giftcards have changed but I do know that I can use Old Navy giftcards at the Gap but I cannot use Gap giftcards at Old Navy. The Gap gc's say only redeemable at gap, gap outlet or gap .com, but the old navy gc's list gap, old navy, and banana republic so they can be used on any order. If you're using the gc online it shouldn't matter since the shipping has all been revamped.
