Our Macys and JCP are opening at 7am tomorrow. Walmart is advertising a 6am opening. Merry Christmas. We have had a wonderful day with family. Hope everyone else did also.

The night before the sale started, I checked out their website around 11 PM CST. Their sale had already started for the next day or Day One. I ordered what I wanted and received it two days later. I was very pleased with the first day's sale. It was like the last day of of the sale last year. Try ordering at night.

Dillards does have a huge one-day sale going on today online also. There were a few Dooney and Coach purses on line earlier today. You might still find something. I don't live near a Dillards, but my daughter does. She picked up on awesome buys in clothing, jewelry, watches, shoes, purses, and the home dept. (lol) I think she spent all of the money we gave her for Christmas. But that's ok. It was hers to spend for what she needed. Good luck! Hope you find something.

Well, I had the opposite experience at our local Walmart. They never mark their candy down to 50% off until a few days after Christmas. I waited until Saturday night to to go for wrapping paper and bags. Their candy was 50% off and they were virtually sold out! I could not believe it. Tomorrow I am going to make my 40 mile drive to the nearest mall and Target. I hope I have better luck.

You might try looking in an antique shop. I refused to have a metal file cabinet in my husband's home office. We found an old one, which had been painted, in an antique shop. I purchased it at a great buy. We had it stripped and refinished. It was solid oak and ended up looking beautiful. It has lots of personality and seems more like a piece of furniture. Good luck.

I have in the past used codes for these semi-annual sales, however today when I ordered I could not get the codes I had to work. It is still a great sale, especially for those of us who do not live near a store. I try to stock up and usually check back daily for further reductions or to see if something that was sold out has come back into stock. Thanks for the post and the codes. If I order again, I will still try the codes again. It never hurts to try. Merry Christmas!

I am somewhat disappointed. I ordered very early morning the last day of the sale. The first disappointment came when one of the animal prints was sold out at approximately 4:30 AM! My second disappointment came this morning when I saw my order is still awaiting shipping. What a bummer! I was hoping to put one of these purses under the tree. Two show awaiting shipping and the third says booked. (Wonder what that means?) I guess I will have to call.

Yes, I was really disappointed that the animal print was sold out so early. My oldest daughter would have really liked that. Oh well, on to other things.

I was in my walmart this past weekend trying to get some information about their procedure for ticket items. I was told my walmart would have 17 ticket items. I finally got to see our store map and there were only 10 items. Go figure. I live in a very small town where walmart rules. Last year a fight broke out when folks were grabbing for one of the big ticket items. Seems like confusion to me. If they don't know by now, well ------lol, I may stay home and use the internet.

Last year at Lowes, I had the best BF experience ever. All the guys in my family wanted items in the BF sale from Lowes. I made my list. The line to get in was not bad. Two of the sales associates came up to me. I showed them my list. They actually went and got the items for me and placed them in my cart. The items that would not fit, they tagged and placed up front. They also helped load my vehicle. Great service and extremely nice people! Made my life a lot easier.

Drove forty miles to nearest TARGET in Jackson,TN. Patio furniture still just 30% off. All was not lost. I found lots of nice markdowns at Sam's Club!
