So does the $5 off 25 toy coupon work on the DS systems? I saw someone saying that they were going to use it on theirs. I was wondering if it actually worked. I think I am going to get DH one for his b-day!

Was so happy to find a really nice comforter set its white & black for $25 the other day. Thats about it on deal findings though
The portable dvd players were down to only 2 on the day they went to 50% I am still glad I got my 7 inch digital photo frame for 50% off though~

Went on Wed night & found an 8 inch Kodak Digital Picture Frame $69.98 (org 139.99) I had not seen it there before so my guess was it was a return or something so I snatched it up 50% is good enough for me! It is really nice it even can play music & video!

My Walmart clearance was pretty disappointing! Only good toy deals I found were 2 Ninja Turtle action figures like 1/2 off.

We did a 1pm wedding, and served lunch afterwards. It saved us TONS of money! Plus we didnt have to worry about the whole alcohol dillema we were able to enjoy our day, go take pictures, and get to our hotel by like 8 pm it was perfect! We had ours at the church all my DH's family goes to so they did the ceremony & also let us have the reception there for free. I think we spent around $2,000 total!!

I know someone mentioned something about the scrapbook stacks of paper on clearance the other day org. $9.99 my store had them 30% off yesterday. Do you think they went 50% off today?

Ugh I am so mad I wanted to check out the baby stuff & of course the Vogel store had NO power!! So, we went to SoCo and there was nothing good except a few crib sets they had a really adorable Safari set 75% off for 17.xx? The FP booster chair there was full price too.

Michaels ads & coupons are only every other week, not every week. You can sign up your kids for the kids club and they mail your kids coupon a 40% off for their birthdays, I think they have the sign up card in the store. Joannes has a sign up card at the register and you can fill it out there and they mail you their ad papers with coupons in them.
Michaels coupons usually start going every other week around January & then start back to everyweek closer to Thanksgiving. But, usually on holidays they will have an ad.
I know my store went back & forth forever about internet coupons. So, it doesnt hurt to try last I knew they were taking them again. They will do a price match for Joannes, Hobby Lobby etc.
If they give you a hard time about signing just explain to them that you do not get it in your paper. Like I said before if that does not work ask for an FES (front end supervisor) or Manager. Half of the cashiers there have no idea what they are talking about!

I went to the Kirkwood MO store last night & FINALLY got some deals!!! Got a pair of toddler hotwheels shoes for 3.xx they had like 5 pairs in the clearance and a bunch in the regular priced section. Of course they didnt scan right so he just did an override on the price no questions! Also finally found my DS the Transformers blanket that I had my eye on forever & then couldnt find
2 sets of Mens pjs 4.xx I know I got more but I think that was the exciting stuff!

I am only 2 mintues from it. Looks like I found another neighbor! If you ever see a young couple with a little boy with bright blonde hair there it might be me & DH!Ok STL women, stop shopping at the Vogel Target, lol. I live right by it so that is the only reason I am stuck shopping there. The next time I see someone cruising the end caps I am going to say Gotta Deal and see if they give me a weird look or say HI!!! Might be kind of strange, lol.
Every item that I have been waiting to drop at that store its gone by the time I get there. I wanted some of the kids blankets like the Transformers one but the day they went to 75 they were gone

The calendars will eventually go down to 10 cents. They are normally only $1 I know the store I worked at always had tons of them!

If you go in Michaels just tell them that you dont recieve them ad in your area. They will make you sign a coupon exception log & put your zip code on it.
If they try to give you a hard time about it ask to talk to an FES or a manager. When I worked there I'm pretty sure they made that a company wide policy that you could sign at all stores. If you throw a good fit about it you can get the discount one way or another. Good luck!

I can't believe they have been that horrible to both of you guys that posted about the Vogel store! I will keep my eye out for them. But, I think my Target trips will be limited for awhile!
I am seeing all these people on here shopping at the Vogel store. Is that why I am not getting any good deals lately?? I see one woman pretty often when I am in there, now I am wondering if it is one of you GD'ers! LOL

Oh man I am so bummed!! I have been checking out those blankets for weeks waiting for them to go to more than 30% off. My toddler goes through blankets & sheets like crazy. I was just there tonight too but no chance to look around.... looks like I need to go back!Yeah, I had to restrain myself as well. They are asking me to buy them regular sheets at this point (they don't like the scratchy quality of the character sheets anymore), so I didn't get anything. They had a lot, too!

My girls really like them, I bought them last week and it has been a big hit at my home since they really enjoy drawing and coloring (think they are going to be artist), I have about 7 different drawings on my fridge. The table and stool are very cute together. The only thing I am worried about is once the roll of drawing paper that comes with it runs out if it is going to be easy to find replacements?.

What kind are you guys able to find? Every few months I find 4 or 5 apple juices for .69, but never any of the other flavors. Weird, but not complaining...I love finding those things!

Personally I would wait to buy one if you are wanting it for Christmas. They have their refurbs all the time. And if you get it now the 1 year warranty will only go until next January. Meaning you are basically wasting your warranty. I bought one for my DH last Fathers day from them & after a few months it started having problems. We took it in the store & they said they couldnt fix it (something with the internal something or other lol) so they gave him a new one!

Anyone have any of the DCPI #s on any of the baby stuff that could be for a boy or girl. Mainly thinking along the lines of the bouncers, car seats (if they have any), or the stroller/carseat combo?? We already have a pack & play, high chair, and swing.

You know, we have 2 Wal-Mart's within 5 miles of our house and a Target directly across the street. I will NEVER shop at Wal-Mart again.
Actually...my mom said to check Wal-Mart for something we were looking for, and I quickly said, "I'll go to Target." :) If Target doesn't have what I need, I'll drive some place else, but NOT Wal-Mart. :)
I HATE Walmart!!! My hubby bought me a printer/scanner from there for my bday we got it home & it was USED! Not to mention the fact that it was not even the same printer that was supposed to be in there it was some other one from who knows where. The box was completely sealed so you would think it would have been fine. We got it home & opened it and were like WTH? This cant be right 15 minutes later took it back to the store & they accused us of putting our printer in the box & then trying to return it. One of the supervisors came over and told us that we STOLE it. Ugh! At this point I am completely pissed finally they exchange it for another one & got rude with me about opening the box before we left. They wrote on the receipt "customer returned incorrect item to store" like we did it! Then a few months later DH went back & bought me a Sims 2 game & the box was empty. He called the store & talked to a manager to explain it & they said it was fine. He got to the store & they tried to say he stole it. Luckily he finally got them to bring the manager to the front that he talked to on the phone & she fixed it. I will NOT shop at Walmart now.

I bought this today too. DS2 has been playing with it all afternnoon. Crazy amount of batteries, and kind of po'd that the flash light takes the weird batteries.
I know!! You would think they would come with them since they are such weird batteries! We saw on the box that they needed them but completely forgot to pick them up on the way out. Looks like I have an excuse to go back to Target!!

I was there around 7 last night too!!
We just keep missing each other!
Anyways we did get the last Nintendo DS so atleast with it being $10 off that covered tax. I completely forgot about the coupon, but oh well.
Anyone know of any good clearance stuff for the Nintendo DS? I saw a few games that were 30% off but we all know we can do better than that
