So I placed an order on Thanksgiving. At some point on Friday, 2 of my items were cancelled. My Kohl's cash went active yesterday and it is still for the amount it should have been had the other 2 items been shipped (one of which was a $200+ item). Has anyone ever had this happen? I mean I don't want to shop this week using that Kohls cash and then have to come up with the additional payment but then if for some reason I am getting the full amount, I don't want it to go to waste. TIA!!

Thanks so much for the reply. Do you know how to tell the difference in the cases? When I read descriptions of the cases, there is nothing that indicates it is for a specific generation.

All: I posted this question on the general discussion tablet thread, but no one has answered. I am getting each one of my kiddos one of the Kindles and I had a question about cases. I want to order a case for it as well, but I was wondering if the Kindle cases are pretty standard or since this is a previous generation model, will it require a different case. We are mainly an Apple family and I know that each time a new generation of something comes out, the old cases won't work with them. I was not sure if that was the same thing with the Kindles. TIA for any help you can give.

So I am looking to buy all three of my kiddos the Kindle Fire that BB has on sale BF which states it is the previous . Do you know if you can still get cases for them and if so, will any 7" Kindle Fire case work? I know with Apple each time a new generation of something was released, they changed it to where you had to get a case for that generation. Is it the same with the Kindle?

I swear, I might need a new laptop as the refresh button might get worn out today while waiting....

I am in the market for a new fridge. I was hoping to see a spectacular deal at Best Buy or Sears, but have not seen anything earth shattering. I know Home Depot hasn't come out yet, but are the items which were released on Pinterest the only Black Friday specials Lowe's is having? I was really hoping for a good deal there.

We have been very fortunate the last three years to get the early access to BF items. This may be our last year as we probably will not make the minimum purchase amount to stay Elite Plus. We have never had a doorbuster cancelled on us and I hope I just didn't jinx myself into having one. We will order 3 of the Kindles for our kids and I am in the market for a new fridge so I am waiting to see what they offer there. I am just anxiously awaiting the full ad to be released. Come on already Best Buy!!

Super excited we will have early access to the Best Buy sale items since we are premier members of Reward Zone. If you know someone with the same type of access, we got an email a couple of weeks ago that allowed us to invite two friends to enjoy the early shopping as well. I will be more than likely getting the Kindle and I am hoping for a great deal on a fridge.

I completely agree with the Nabi 2. We purchased one for our 3 year old about a month ago and don't regret it at all. Our 7 (almost 8) and 5 year old have iPods and they would rather play with the 3 year old's Nabi. Our kids mainly use their iPods for listening to music and prefer playing apps and games on the Nabi. We also have the original LeapPads for all three and they still love to play on those as well.
