  1. So with a sick little one we just got done with cookies a few mins ago. Tucked 2 in bed. Just waiting on the older 2. A few more things to wrap and presents under tree. Then bed!! So tired, seems like christmas and the few days before I barley sleep, lol.
  2. I don't have anything left to do - yay! For once I am caught up and just enjoying time with the kiddos although, one of them has the stomach virus. :(

Ahh, hope they feel better. My kids went to my moms last night and my dd8 was sick. Now she has passed it to my dd5. Poor kids!

  3. We always open a gift and just hang out together, movie, cookies or whatever. This year I am so sad, my little one is 5 1/2 and my oldest 14 1/2! The time seems to have just flown by so we are starting a new one this year. I got poster board and paint and every year the kids are going to put the hands in paint and onto board. They bring home stuff like that when they are little but I think it will be fun in a few years to see just how much they have grown. My oldest thinks its silly but when hes grown and sees just how difference there is I think it will be fun to look back at!
  4.

    Cherry Butter Cookies

    2 C. Butter, softened

    2 t. Vanilla Extract

    2 C. Powdered Sugar

    1/4 t. Salt

    4 1/2 C. Sifted All Purpose Flour

    1/2-1 C. Chopped Marachino Cherries

    1/2 C. Chopped Walnuts

Preheat oven to 350. Mix butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth. Mix in salt, then stir in flour by hand until dough is stiff. Incorporate cherries and walnuts into dough, kneading like bread on powdered sugar surface. Roll dough into ping pong size balls, and place on cookie sheet. press down balls with a fork making a criss cross pattern. Bake 15-17 minutes or until edges start to brown. Cool on wire racks. This recipe is really versatile for any holiday. I'm thinking I might leave out the walnuts this year and add some almonds, and some almond extract.

I know what ill be doing tomm. They sound soo yummy!

  5. Glad to see my 8 year old isn't the only one asking for a laptop and phone, lol. Those are the two things she wants the most. Her list is like 3 pages. She loves to draw so she wants drawing stuff, a new easel. Monster High and Justin Beieber, make up, perfume, Orbizz, new jewelery box, stuff for playing school.
  6. I seen sooo many babies this year and it makes me sick! I have been a single mom and know the necessity of getting a good price to make sure my son had a good Christmas. BUT I always thought of it as is him having a good xmas worth him getting hurt, NO WAY! My son is 14 now and wanted to go this year. I told him no and am glad I did. I would love to share this with him, but not after the craziness I seen this year. If I can't afford it and have no sitter I will not subject my kids to that. They don't need it that bad. Older kids to each their own. My son personally wouldn't do so good just because of his personality. I don't see anything wrong with kids his age going but a baby freezing in the cold and then being hurt no way!
  7. I was at two and that was the worst I have ever seen! I heard there was a fist fight over a waffle maker, wow! My hub and I have been going for the past few years, but this was awful! There was a lady stepped on for Monster High Dolls. I left the store with nothing, to much of a cluster mess!
  8. I was just at two stores by me and if you can get em online do it! We left after a while. It was a cluster f*** mess!!! I have been a few years but this was AWFUL. No organization, after being in line forever, we had to move cause the line we all were in they said we all couldnt be there. Then we were all told to come back after 10, my dh was very mad to say the least, lol. Hoping everyone else had better luck at their Walmarts.

Oh to answer the ?, no tickets at mine.
