  1. Love the binder idea because when you drop the ads....it's a mess!!

I write my list in order of store on graph paper. I also have a list of who I'm buying for and items desired. I also have a budget amount and stick to it. On their Xmas lists, I have general idea of pricing so I can check for 'deals' that are unexpected.

I do lots of price matching so I couldn't cut the ads out...No way.

On my graph paper under Walmart for example, I list items I plan to price match; what store I'm PMing and the price so I know what to grab before 5am and then can easily show the cashier at check out.

I'm going to 3 hole punch and put ads in binder this year. Love it. Thanks.

  2. I thought that video/camera mp3 looked cool for a tween gift.

    tink.....

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but you are able to get the PS3 with the $100 gift card offer online this morning. I had the gift card e-mailed to me within minutes and used it to buy a DS. Now if only I can find Bakugan's!

    Happy Shopping!

They had tons of the Bakugan set for $32.99 at Costco. I bought it about a month ago and looks like they've restocked. It's the arena + 6 sets of bakugans. Great deal.

  3. Just happened to me at Steinmart. Now that store is designed to mislead you into buying the wrong price...some racks are 50% some are 40% some are 20% on top of clearance and some are just full price, so I'm always really careful about what I pick from where, etc.

I went to a rack with a 40% above it and picked out 4 things. I also picked out 1 50% and 3 full price. Well they said the 40% were brand new and were not on sale. I was in a hurry and irritated because I had been digging for an hour for the crap I found. I refused to buy those 4 but bought the rest and stomped away...as I was leaving the manager said 'I'm going to check that rack.' I should have gone back with her and demanded the 40% or at least not bought any of it like OP. That would have felt GREAT. Now I'm not even excited about what I did buy. Maybe I'll return.

    Ugh.

  4. Yes..saw it was different...I ordered it anyway...I figured it was close enough! ;o) plus she's 18...why she wants one anyway...good advertising? lol.

Of course as soon as I ordered it, the $89.99 deal came back but I figured was meant to be! LOL.

oh and where are you seeing the details of what's included...i couldn't get any details [even after ordered] except for the picture...just says 'bundle'. thanks.

  5. Considering the 8" frame and 2gb sd card that I bought on Black Friday cost me about $62.88 before tax....the camera is less than $40 bucks. Not bad! I'll wait to see before I return the previously purchased frame and sd card to Walmart. Give those as gifts and keep camera for daughter's birthday in march.

Thanks!!!! I really can't believe more people aren't jumping on this considering the slim offerings for black friday.

  7. Line jumpers will always get paid back eventually - I hang my head in shame as I recall BF 1996 when me, my mom, and my aunt went to Walmart and got in line just as the doors were opening... my mom must have gotten a sudden adrenaline rush because she shoved people's carts out of the way and nearly knocked down an employee as she blew past the line and the screaming people still outside waiting.

My aunt and I just stood there, blinking at each other.

When we caught up with this crazed woman I call mom, she had severely sprained 2 fingers during her initial "push" into the carts. Paybacks are hell.

My aunt and I spent the rest of our time in Walmart avoiding her so we wouldn't have to suffer guilt by association or something...

That just cracked me up!! Thanks for the laugh. :D
