  1. bfads lists 'pillow pals' for toys r us $9.99 so not sure if pillow pets are also on sale but just not listed on bfads

other stores are listed for $19.99 for the pillow pets.

Justice has them listed for $29.95 but right now everything is 40% off so it's $18.

Bed Bath and Beyond works best with either the 20% coupon or the $5 off $15. Works out to $16 for the pillow pet.

I can't imagine there not being a deal on these on BF but don't see any listed.

SOMEONE on another board posted getting at kohls when they run the 30% works out to like $13.

  2. I have always gone to walmart first...it's 5 minutes away....and there's a Kohls 2 minutes from walmart and a Meijer across the street....and many of the other big stores.

but I want to try the Target for the experience....sounds great! Problem is it's 15-20 minutes away from everything else....so yikes.

I HATE Kohls. The lines are horrible. And Walmart just isn't fun....but I love that they price match.

  3. I take a 3-ring binder with the ads hole punched and in there.

I do lots of price matching and have to show the check out clerks the flyers. That wouldn't work if I had them cut out on index cards. Do you guys not price match?

There's a pocket in the front where I keep my list divided by stores with the list of items and price. I also put the items I plan to price match under the store I plan to buy from with the original store noted so I know what flyer to grab. This list is written in order of stores I plan to hit.

While in the line to check out I refer to my list and grab the flyers needed for price matching to make it smooth at check out.

If I'm not price matching, I just grab my list and shop from that.

I get a big yummy latte for my treat.

  4. Make sure you check the F&F flyer prices & stock/item numbers against the BF 2 day sale flyer prices & stock/item numbers. In appliances, I'm seeing increased F&F prices & model number differences on some items...

    Example:

Kemore Elite 25 cu. ft. refrigerator (#79753)

    BF 2 day sale price - $1599.99 (save $1200)

    F&F sale - 2015.99 after 10% VIP savings (save $784)

    Samsung Front loader:

    BF 2 day sale - $999.98 pair

Samsung 4.0 cu. ft. High Efficiency Washer (#38302/WF219ANW)

Samsung 7.3 cu. ft. Dryer (#88302/DV219AEW)

    F&F sale - $1079.98 pair after 10% VIP savings

Samsung 4.0 cu ft High Efficiency Washer (#37072/WF328AAW)

Samsung 7.3 cu ft Dryer (#87072/DV328AEW)

Any additional %'s off in the F&F ad not included. Just a heads up...

So disappointed as I was so excited to purchase this W/D set early as I've been without heat in my dryer since September...takes FOREVER obviously to dry.

I want the 219 though not the 328. OY.

I can make it 2 more weeks I guess.

  5. I'm totally planning to price match at Lowes or Best Buy even during the F&F event hopefully.

It says the model number and I can't imagine it not working...

I've been without a heating element on my dryer for a couple months. CAN'T WAIT!!!

This is the dryer I've been wanting. Don't really need the washer but what the heck! The warranty's out on that next year anyway...

    Trish

Don't forget squaretrade for cheaper warranties! THis will be my first year using them.

  6. I have my 3-ring binder with my store print-outs and my cross references for price matches. The pocket in back holds the store flyers when I need to show to cashiers.

The front pocket is for my notepad.

I bring a big purse for the receipts coupons rebates; water; snacks; etc.

I always have a big smile on my face and a happy attitude to deal with the chaos all around me and for the employees. And I try to wear a fun shirt.

    So excited!!!

  7. My cheap idea is to get plain comforters and accessorize with the theme. That way you don't have to keep changing it up....plus you don't want it 'too themed' IMHO.

Walmart has nice reversible comforters right now for $19. Hot pink/light pink; purple/lt. purple, black/grey, etc.

You could buy cheap frames for some posters and decorate walls that way. Also a really cool throw pillow [soft football, soccer ball; ballerina, guitar hannah, etc.]. or sham.

For sports I'd also hang a basketball hoop somewhere in the room, hockey sticks on the wall, etc.

Hannah you could paint music notes on the wall, attach old cds on strings as a curtain.

Ballerina do decorating with ribbons, how about a toille canopy over the bed that you could buy or make.

    Have fun!

  8. Just spent $56.67 but will end up $10 after rebates!

I filled out the easy rebates online for the FREE AR items; close to $25. The rest is the backpack [$29.99].

Just wanted to clarify the backpack just comes based on your rewards card information? There was no rebate form with it. I also think it's not cash but credit at Staples. Correct?

    Thanks.

I bought one that had a lunch pack attached. Cool.
