go for the 3120m unless it will be running off battery power alot of its life, not plugged in much.
Dell, no. HP, yes. Toshiba, okay. That is build quality, not those particular computers listed.

I have narrowed down the list of laptops that I am looking at and would appreciate any input! I am looking at:
Toshiba 15.5", 4GB, 500GB HD, Intel Core i3-3120M processor for $299 at OfficeMax
Dell Inspiron 15 15.6", 4GB, 500GB HD, Intel Core i3 3217U processor for $299 at Dell
HP Sleekbook Ruby Red 14" Pavilion 4GB, 500GB HD, Intel Core i32377M processor for $295 (Cyber Monday)
I have never had a Toshiba. I am hesitant with Dell after a bad experience. I have loved my HP, but wish it was larger like the other two! The Toshiba seems to have the best processor specs of the 3.
I will be using the computer for work and home--need it for word processing, internet, and some Photoshop.
Any opinions appreciated! Thanks!

You are right! AT&T and Verizon do, it is Sprint that doesn't! I am confused after looking over all the various plans!you sure they dont??? They do for my area....

imo - i like at&t just bc u have sims cards and can use unlocked phones when/if u break any before your 2 years
However i live in the tri state area so no matter where i go i always have coverage......

We were happy with Sprint until we moved 3 miles out of town. Our phones are now always on roaming at home so we have dropped calls, delayed text messages, no notification of missed calls, etc. We are basically unable to use them while in our house. I know Verizon service is ok here, and have heard AT&T is as well. I do wish AT&T had shared data plans!

I wonder if other carriers will offer this too!? I'm trying to decide if I should take his deal or wait and see what Verizon offers for BF. Because of lack of coverage we need to switch from Sprint to either AT&T or Verizon. Verizon offers better coverage of the two.

I think I will like shopping Thursday night more than Black Friday morning. Our family time is over by late afternoon, and I am not a morning person! For the last few years I have gotten most of my shopping done online in the wee hours of Friday morning, so getting in line and navigating the crowds is even less appealing when I haven't slept. I just wonder when the online BF sales will be starting this year!

Very good for the price. Has dvd/cd drive which the asus at $219 does not. Bought one for my 12 yr old and it does everything we need it to. Very good battery life for a $229 computer.
Can I ask which model this is? Link?

Just a warning--I placed an order that didn't seem to go through at the very end--got that same warning about things not working. I also didn't get an email confirmation and the items were not emptied from my cart, so I thought the order wasn't placed. Tried again, but noticed that my new CC that I had entered was listed. Checked my email again and got a confirmation, so I guess it did go through. Who knows.

There are some great deals! I really like the Calf Medium East/West Tote! But....I'm not shopping for myself! I still need a gift for my sister but I don't think she would like any of the colors. Judging by the pictures, I think I missed out on some of the better colors!

That's great!! And good to know! It drives me crazy when the price is lowered on something right after I buy it! So if it is a significant purchase, I check the price to see if it goes down.

Stores will not match .com prices, even their own. I bought a lego set online and tried to get store to match the price. THey told me they can't match the .com prices.
I am not sure if the OP was trying to get the refund at the store or through .com. But since the original purchase was on .com, I would think going through the CS on .com would be the best bet since that is also where the price change was noted, not in the store.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes! I have seen where they say "prices in stores may vary", but since you purchased online and now the price is lower online I would think they would. I have found that most stores do this within a certain time frame.

I believe the ones that come in a 2 pack are fleece, not the microplush, which are the super-soft ones.

Im a little indecisive about my kids "big present". I was thinking Wii, but didnt really know........wasnt convinced. So I go out today and Im wandering thru Walmart and I see the red wii with the 2 games, and there is still a sign up that says you get a $50 rebate. Of course this was supposed to be over on 12/26. But because the sign was up, the honored it.
In that instant I became pretty decisive, and now my kids are getting the Wii..
Yeah! You will love it! We have enjoyed our wii so much! Our entire family played wii bowling last night!

I went out and got an N router.. they didnt have any $29.00 ones, so I ended up with a $59.00 linksys. (hate paying full price, but this seemed like an emergency for my sanity... lol)
Once I had the new router, set up on the blu ray was quick and easy! We are streaming netflix right now!
I figured it was a good thing to update my router anyways... we are getting an xbox for christmas and we might want to do some online stuff with that.

i have a linksys G router. every time i try and it runs the test it fails.. i think ive been trying for about the last 8 hours.
Oh boy! How frustrating!
I know in the past when I have tried to connect things I have had to completely reset my router and change the SSID and password and start all over connecting devices. It seems like my problem is that devices get assigned the same ip address.

I ended up ordering this one online at Staples. It is $299 after rebate. That's the same price as the others I was considering, and it has the same processor as the one at OfficeMax. But this one has 6GB and 750GB HD instead of 4/500.
