Saw this earlier this week on here somewhere- called around to everyone's ToysRUs throughout the state and got one where my mom lives. She went and picked it up for us Tuesday morning!!!! I am sooooo excited about this gift!!!!

A Christmas Story

We go to Christmas Eve service at church, then come home, eat dinner, watch a Christmas movie, and since my dad ALWAYS read Twas the Night Before Christmas to me when I was growing up, my dh now does it since my dad now lives 2 hours away! I tried wrapping ds' gifts from Santa last night so I won't have to do that Christmas Eve this year. DH and I will do our gifts to each other after son goes to bed.

Ditto! But now I am worried that the GH we got won't work Christmas morning! Keeping my fingers crossed- hope no one else has any other problems.

Okay I am almost (not quite, but almost) embarrassed to admit this- we, being myself (40), dh (39), and ds (15) still leave out cookies, milk, and carrots. We sprinkle the oats outside, too. I still write a letter to Santa every Thanksgiving about how good I have been and how mean my siblings, db (44) and ds (30) have been all year. My parents love it! And I know they still, regardless if any of us are there or not, still leave out milk and cookies.

Seriously, I had the same reaction- 187? How many kids did they have and how many kids did each of your aunts/uncles and your parents have?

Bought 4 for all the nephews and our ds although we got him a PS3, he still will have his PS2 to play this on when his dad hogs the PS3! LOL Thanks so much, OP!

Was just coming to post this! Just got the email and ordered this one. Will sell the PS2 one on craigslist that we ordered last week. Actually will probably sell just the game and keep the wireless guitar for the dual play. I am so excited about this Christmas- between this game, and the WalMart deal on PS3 and PSP, ds is going to have a great Christmas!

Thanks OP! I couldn't get the code to work on toys or housewares but it worked on clothes! I couldn't get the links to work but got 2 sueded pullovers for dh for $5.00 each shipped and got ds a fender tshirt for $8.00 shipped! All for around $18.00 total in 3 shipppings! Thanks OP!!!

Check out the Ace Hardware BF ad that Brad has already posted. It has a digital frame for $59.00. Not sure the quality and it looks like you can get them cheaper from what Brad said but it was one of the things we are going to check out at Ace on BF! Never thought that would be a place we would go but we are going to check out the frames and the digi cam binoculars for my dad!

I go overboard with stockings. My parents always went overboard, and I think it passed on to me! dh does my stocking and after he saw his filled the first year we were married, he felt bad about only putting a couple of things in mine! He has since gotten much better about the stocking! The dogs and fish all get stockings, too. I use the little stockings to hang on the aquarium, the dogs have dogbone stockings with their pictures in them, and ds, dh, and I all have one. These are opened after Santa gifts on Christmas morning. My parents still have our stockings each year ready for us when we get to their house. It is the only thing Santa still brings there. We told them two years ago that Santa needed to stop coming to their house, too! It was just all too much and they are both retired. Santa brought just as many things up until then as he did when we were kids. We still get about 10 gifts each, but the 30-40 gifts from Santa had to stop!

I am lost on this whole PS3 thing. They remarketed the 80 gig ones and repriced them to make them match the 40 gig ones, or something or other..I think! Can someone help me out in understanding which one I need to get? Can any of the ones that are out play PS2 games? Thanks for any help!
