That is just plain wrong. I hope they dialed 9-1-1 and had him arrested! There is NOTHING worth getting that calls for violence like that. People like him need to realize that the employees are only doing as they were told and they usually try to do their best. His punishment should be to have to work a Walmart BF sale for at least 2 hours before the sale (when customers are getting antsy waiting in lines) until two hours AFTER the sale - so he gets the late-comers that are desperately trying to get them to extend the prices on things! Perhaps that would change his attitude on things![/color]

I am sorry that you had such a bad experience. You should have grabbed THEIR advert and showed them on the very front page it read that they WOULD price match ANYTHING in a printed ad! I would be complaining - first to the store manager, then to the Corporate Offices about this if you do not get satisfaction. Heck, since you were there and have your receipt to show the time, perhaps you can get them to honor anything you weren't able to get from other stores if they have the item in stock! At the very least, perhaps next year it will make it better. My brother frequents a Walmart that SOME of the employees will constantly tell him they won't price match. He calls the manager each time because he knows the store's policy is to price match.[/color]

For those of you wanting the Pixos Starter Set, call your local Target Store. My sister just called me. She was at the Target and said they had the Pixos Starter Set today for $10. So she picked up a couple of them. Why take a chance that you'll get to your local Walmart on BF and they will be out of them if you can get them today for the same price? Good luck. I'll hope it wasn't just a local price that she found.

If all Walmart stores are using the same ad, you can use it to force your store to PM. Right on the front page, under the words Unbeatable Prices! it states that the stores will match prices of any local competitor. Unless the individual store has different ads printed up omitting those words, the stores HAVE to honor it or it is illegal advertising (Bait and Switch).

I was also looking for specs on this and have not been able to find any. I agree that it is probably a special model number made only for Walmart to prevent places having to price match or competing against them. After going thru the Samsung site in search of the camera, I have to say that since there is nothing anywhere on the site about this model number, that the chances are great that support and servicing for the camera could be difficult to obtain. On the site, you have to select your model number in order to do anything so even getting the camera registered could be a major problem. After fighting with their system, I finally selected a product so I could get an email sent to them and I requested information on this specific camera. I will post any reply I get here so everyone will know.

Our Kmart, Walmart and Meijer are all 24/7 stores so there was no waiting to get inside the store. Went to Meijer first, their sale started at 6:00 and then Kmart. I arrived at Meijer at 5:15 b/c I wanted one of the $40 HP All in One printers. The parking lot didn't have a whole bunch of cars in it but considering the time of day, there were a lot of people there. Had my list, went thru the store, getting the things and when it came 6:00 and the *official* start time of their sale, I was more than half done. When I left Mejier, their huge parking lot was nearly full of people! Got to the Super Kmart a little before 6:45 and there were just a handful of cars in the lot. Only thing I was there for was the Dora and Chicken Shoot GBA games and some soda that was on sale. Bought some nice dress shoes for myself that were on sale for $10.99 and a few other small things. Went to check out and the place had only the Express Lane and three other checkout lanes open/operating and there weren't more than two or three people AT THE MOST in any of the lines! It was pretty sad, IMO.
