  1. Considering you are in NY and I am in SoCal...I'm thinking it's unlikely:) But who knows...maybe you like to drive!
  2. I really love my Tomtom! I got it 2 years ago on BF from BB online.
  3. I went last year to get the laptop and showed up at 6:45, it opened at 7. Right before they opened the manager came out and handed out 40 tickets to the first 40 people in line that wanted the laptop. I was #32. When we got in at 7 we went back to Electronics and they said we had to wait until 8. They tried to get a head start on ringing us up and took #1 at like 7:50, but the system wouldn't let them do it. The system locked it out until 8. They didn't normally sell the laptop, so I'm not sure if it would have worked for the other products. I wonder if this will happen this year. I would hate to be the manager that decides to start at 12, only to have the system not let him...think of all the angry, anxious people wanting "their" stuff. By the way, for those of you planning on getting the xbox deal, you can't use the gift card on one of the tv's or anything else in the store. The gift card is a eGift card that can only be used online at walmart.com
  4. anyone have any codes that work today, the ones from that link are all expired. The heart one worked though.
  5. Which BB are you going to? I'm in TO and am thinking about camping out at a BB this year if they have a good enough ad. When are you planning on going?
  6. That's what I want for my bedroom, something 40" or bigger. I'm hoping to find one for under $400, we shall see!
  7. 1. 42" TV for less than $399 for the bedroom. 2. Seasons of The Office. 3. DVD's under $5. 4. Blue Ray player under $60. 5. Upconverting DVD player under $30
  8. CRAZY!!! That's exactly what I wear. Just kidding, I wear my normal everyday clothes...jeans, sweatshirt. But that sounds pretty festive
  9. We each get a high five for each other. Never gets old!
  10. I was really hesitant at first, but I'm totally sold on Vizio. There low prices made me think that they were just another discount brand with inferior products. But they have proven that they are anything but inferior. You really can not beat the value in a vizio. Costco has some AMAZING regular prices on them. I'm partial to plasma, because the main thing I watch is sports and the blur on the low and mid range lcd's drive me crazy (I'll never be rich enough to shop the high end!)
  11. Here in socal the lows are supposed to be in the high 40's, and as silly as this sounds that might be enough to keep people away. People around here are not used to anything under 60 and are the biggest weather wimps I've ever seen. I can't remember the last time it was in the 40's...and I guarantee people weren't outside when it was. I would be willing to bet that people in our line will be dressed heavier than people in lines where the temp is 20 degrees cooler.
  12. As far as I can see the only big advantage of the LE over the TT3 is that you can do multiple locations with the LE, but only one at a time with the TT3. So, if you have 4 or 5 stops ahead, the LE will be prepared (as long as you entered in everything when you started) and the TT3 you will have to enter the next address at each stop.
  13. No, instant means instantly at the register. You will just need the $230 +tax of course
  14. Maybe not where you live, but I just drove by my BB and there was nobody. The lines vary a great deal depending on where you are.
  15. I'm not sure if the "buy online" icon is going to be accurate. It says on the top of the doorbuster page (http://www.bestbuy.com/thanksgiving1jt?&ref=10&loc=HGC) that they are in store only. However if you click on the item from the ad http://bestbuy.shoplocal.com/bestbuy/Default.aspx?action=browsepageflash&storeid=2412778&rapid=482844&pagenumber=1&prvid=112207MW&promotioncode=112207MW it does give the buy online option. We will see I guess.
  16. So if a ticket doesn't guarantee the item what the heck is the point of tickets???
  17. Do the tickets for all of the items go early? The earliest I am willing to go is midnight on Friday morning. I am hoping to get a Tom Tom, and can't imagine that it would be among the most popular things. However I could also see some idiot that doesn't want things asking for a ticket anyway, just because it's offered to him and then not using it. Is there any chance of getting a ticket for the Tom Tom if I only go 3 hours before tickets are distributed?
  18. I was at my local bb today (fullerton, ca) and the guy said that the ticket items have to be picked up by 9am. I asked him what time started lining up last year and he said Thursday afternoon, but after reading this it almost seems impossible that it could be that late...especially in southern california. Has anyone done it in this area?
