  1. Okay, since it has to be under $100, I'll go with what I wanted for my birthday :bday3: before I saw the inflatable snow globe with the :holiday14 . Keep in mind that Christmas is my absolute favorite time of the year and I'm already in the :holiday02 Christmas spirit!!!

JCPenney.com has an outdoor lighted CANDY CANE ARCHWAY that I think would look awesome alongside my lighted Santa and Reindeer set :holiday01 that I got LAST year for my birthday :bday3: . The candy cane archway is on sale for $79.99 and I have a free shipping coupon so I could get it for $79.99 plus tax and still have :gd_dollar :gd_dollar :gd_dollar to spend :bunny: :bunny: :bunny:

  2. We as parents of three boys tend to overspend on Christmas. Birthdays run around 100-150 and christmas runs around 200-400 per kid. Oldest ones' toys seem to get pricer and pricer. Just got done at toysrus today to get a few deals on their green tag clearance. So I try to buy some cheap clearance items that they will love but also get some things that they have to have. My kids are 6,turns 3 in 6 days and a 13 month old. So yeah they are spoiled but only around the holidays. We both grew up poor and didn't have much. Now that we can afford to we try to give them great Christmas and good birthdays. During the year however its rare for them to get a toy just for the heck of it. As a special reward or they have to earn money for it. I think we try hard not to make our kids spoiled brats having everything handed to them, so at Christmas Santa makes it extra special. (Probably last year oldest one believes) But anyway I'm trying to stick to a budget of 800 overall lol. Don't know if that will happen though.

    :holiday12

I feel so lucky. You said this is the last year your oldest will probably believe in Santa and he is only 6. My stepson who is 14 stopped believing when he was 12 because his mom told him she was santa because she wanted credit for getting his gifts......... We had him still believing. This year my 12 yr old daugher is teetering on whether or not to believe... Last Christmas we got lucky and I just happened to get her something she didn't tell me about but put on her own hidden secret list to santa. My youngest is 4 and I hope that I'm as fortunate with her and she gets to believe as long as the other two. There's just something magical about believing in Santa........

  3. I try not to go overboard, but the kid's do have things that I never had as a child. I do try to limit Christmas shopping to $100 per kid, but do break that budget sometimes.

If I could do this, it would be great! I seem to spend that much on just a 1 or 2 items anymore it seems. My four yr old wants the cinderella vanity, that alone is 59.99 (being price matched at WM from the Sears wishbook). My 12 yr old can't make up her mind what she wants and my 14 yr old wants a gun (he hunts with his dad).

  4. Okay, this is actually what I want for my birthday, which is also in December. I WANT the 8' Inflatable Snow Globe Snowman Family to put out on my front lawn with my other Christmas decorations. This thing looks soooo awesome. The snow even falls like in a regular snow globe AND it lights up. Here's a link in case anyone hasn't seen these yet. http://www.samsclub.com/eclub/main_shopping.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&n=0&mt=a&coe=0&oidPath=0:-23542:-30641:-46141:-46697:949154

Of course, it's more than $100, but if I had $100 to go towards it, then I wouldn't feel guilty buying it for myself!

  5. This may have been posted before..... but in the Sears Wishbook catalog, it is 59.99.... They have a free shipping rebate posted on their website. But I would think if you just take the ad to walmart and have them pricematch, it would be a better deal (no shipping). I'm also going to buying this for my little girl. If TRU did pricematching, they would have a better deal because it's 64.99 in store, but there's a $5 off coupon floating around the net.... if you need it, email me and i'll send you a copy)... but it still makes it the 59.99 price. HTH.
  6. I've seen the target ad listings on other sites and they don't quite match the target ad listed here. Does anyone have a scan of the ad? I really would like to get the family guy dvds at the price listed that we have here, but on the other sites I've seen the ad items, these are not even included in the list.

    Thanks,

    Amy

  7. Do you guys think this will work? I see that Target is going to have the Family Guy DVD's for 17.77 when they are regularly about 36-40$ each. I was going to go put them in layaway at Walmart and then go out VERY LATE in the day Black Friday and ask them to price match the target ad. Thanks for any replies!!!
