  1. If anyone has a valid free shipping code that is good for today and you aren't going to use it today, I would really appreciate a trade. I signed up for rewards but my free shipping code isn't good until tomorrow morning at 6am but I wanted to order today. I'd be glad to trade codes with you. Thanks.
  2. :cheesy: This sounds like my talks with Verizon today...what a waste of time.

I haven't read much good about MagicJack yet and I believe there's a "don't get Magic Jack" thread on GD somewhere.

I've wanted to try Vonage, but when I called for their free trial, they said I had to disconnect my current phone service to be able to use it. I didn't want to disconnect my regular phone service in case I needed to go back to it...without having to pay a re-connect fee later. Figured since the Vonage was using my Broadband, it wouldn't affect my regular line, but I guess I had that wrong.

The only way you would have to disconnect your regular service is if you wanted to keep the same number. You can't have both the vonage and your regular landline the same phone # at the same time. I have both a landline and vonage and have never had any issues. I think there was a misunderstanding between you and the customer service rep.

  3. They're on an endcap in sporting goods, not shoes. They did have a couple of smaller ones at my store, like size 12 or 13. Then they had a couple of 2's, 4's and 5's. You may want to take the kind of socks she'll wear to play and try them on the in the store. I've found that soccer shoes don't always run the same as regular shoes.

Thanks. I went to the Massillon store and got them but they had them in the regular soccer isle. I had to get that, a soccer ball, shin guards, the whole works because it's the first time my little one will be playing. That helped a lot! I think I ended up paying more for the shin guards than for the shoes LOL. My best deal was a cellphone case for my husband (he just lost his today) for $2.48 75% off :) :)

  4. For those of you with kids starting soccer soon like mine are, I found Adidas soccer shoes at 50% off ($9.98 from $19.99).

I also noticed a large number of digital cameras were on clearance. Most were only 15%, a few were 30%. Will keep watching them.

Which target were you at and did they have small sizes? My daughter only wears about a sz 13 toddler (if that) and she's starting soccer next week. Also, were these with the other soccer stuff or are they in the shoe dept? I know shin guards and other soccer stuff are also on sale this week so I'm going to have to go today or tomorrow. Thanks!

  5. The Pepsi Max coupons on my 12 packs were expired and Target wouldn't honor them. Expired 2/3/08. Bummer as I've bought 20 packs of Mt. Dew all w/ the stick on coupons

If you get the Save-a-lot ad in today's mail, there is a manufacturer's coupon on the back page that you can pair with the target coupons for Mt. Dew. The coupon is Buy Four 12-packs of any participating Mountain Dew products and get a FREE 12-pack of Diet Mountain Dew. So you could get 5 12 pks for $8.00.

  6. I went to Target today and got Dr Pepper that was on sale this week for 5 for $10 they had a coupon on the box for a free 20 oz bottle with the purchase of a 12 pack then along with the 1.00 coupon.

    10 12 pack for Dr Pepper and 10 20 oz. for $10

I wish they were this price at my store. Here's it's 4 for 11 so it ended up being $1.75 a 12pk, which still isn't too bad....... but $1 would have been so nice!

  7. I checked the C3180 (which is this clearance one) when it was advertised in the national flyer on clearance. I actually thought about buying it versus buying new ink cartridges for the HP I have now (which is about 3 years old). Checked the Amaz*n website and a few others. It gets a lot of bad reviews...apparently it guzzles ink like crazy, lots of people have problems with it crashing their computers, the scans are not very good and a whole host of other glitches.

From what I've read, you'll spend a lot more on ink. ..the cartridges themselves go thru ink very quickly and they only hold 1/3 of what other cartridges hold, but they cost more than 1/3 of what other cartridges cost ($15 compared to $25.) Since they only hold 1/3 of what other cartridges hold, they should only cost 1/3 of $25.00, ($8.35), but they cost TWICE that ($15).

    Just an FYI.

I have the C3180. It came with my computer. I love it and haven't had any problems with it or in purchasing ink. Personally, compared to the Lexmark printer ink I had been buying, the cost of this printer ink is way lower. JMO.

  8. Personally, I am not happy with this purchase and am hoping they will take it back. The filter in the cannister gets clogged easily and you lose suction (I noticed this with the attachments). Also when emptying the cannister, it is extremely messy. JMO, but I'd rather go spend the extra $$$ and get a dyson.
  9. I went and got one today. Ours didn't have any of the z700 left but they did have the z400. I called ahead to make sure. Also, I had a $10 off coupon for Lowes so I asked them if they would accept a Lowes coupon and they said they would so I actually got mine for 89.99 plus tax. WOOHOO....... Now, I just hope it performs well.
  10. Personally, I find this excessive and selfish...... and I do think buying like this is going to end the great target deals sooner than we'd all like! JMO

Got my Kotex FREE. LOL. I bought at least 60 packs. I had a full cart of just Kotex pads and liners. On each pack was a $1.50 peel off coupon. They were clearanced to 1.37 for the larger packs, .98 for the smaller packs, and .51 for the liners. So I had to make sure I bought other items as I didn't want to be in the negative when the total came.

Bought 20 bags of M&Ms using the .50 target coupon making them .19 each

Also 40 of the cereal cups (free using the $1 off coupons)

8 granola bar packs using the $1 off coupons (clearanced to .68)

12 more of the Oreo snack cups and also the Nabisco teddy graham ones (Free with $1 coupon from Target)

6 lunchables ($1.02 each) with the $1 coupon

Also got some other Easter snicker bags, twix, rolos, and hershey minatures (for my daughter's pinata).

Total for an absolute over flowing cart (filled the bottom of the cart too lol) = .94 !!!!!!! I shocked the cashier. Of course she had to manually put in the coupons as they wouldn't scan. Made me nervous, but manager told the cashier to shut her light off and do it. Said the scan gun must not be working right. (WHEW)

I actually was tickled pink giving the cashier $1 and getting .06 cents change from all that

  11. When my daughter,8 introduces me to other people, she tells them ..."this is mom, she's cheap"

(we love to bargain shop together!)

I don't know how many times i've had to explain myself out of that one!

I am so glad I am not the only one this happens to!!!! Except it's my 5 year old. Everywhere we go when it's time to pay....... the first words out of her mouth are........ My mom's cheap. The cashiers always get a kick out of it and I just laugh and say yep...... I am :)
