  1. i am not getting into rhetorics, but SOME stuff we do salvage goes back to the floor. because not all items that get defected at guest services is actually broken--a lot of the times, it just needs repackaging. Look, I know my job, I know what happens. Some Targets may do things differently but the point is, Target makes sure their employees are treated just like customers--no side street for sale merchandise, nothing. I sat out in the cold at my own Target, just like everyone else, on Black Friday. No special treatment.
  2. When we send items to salvage, it means they get repackaged and sent back onto the line to get put back on the floor. This is all done by supervisors, so no, we don't get first dibs.
  3. If I remember correctly, wasn't the 12 days of toys thing an email promotion? I remember getting it in my inbox every morning and I believe it ran right up until Christmas Eve or a day before, so hopefully no later than the 12th
  4. corporate doesn't let us raincheck everything. i honestly thought nothing in the two day sale was to be rainchecked, but my GSTL had a sheet that said which ones could be rainchecked. it's the computer that will deny you, not the manager. i did the external hard drive raincheck for a man, but it would let me do the TV
  5. Target: $85 Audiovox 10" portable DVD Player, Seasons 7 and 8 of Seinfeld for roughly $14 each, Gears of War for $38 When I was in line at 4am, there were only about 6 of us. By the time the store opened, there were at least 300 people. Old Navy: $98 coat for half off Best Buy: Half off Spongebob seasons. The S2 isn't really half off. It ring up at $20, even though the half price would be $18 (a glitch that was online earlier, but is now fixed.)
