Thanks Nirvana4all. I did take your advice and get an external hard drive. I didn't get a laptop....."snooze and lose".....it was snowing here last night! People were in line at 4 pm here at BB! Someone asked me about the Creative Memories software but since I'm new I can't respond back to her in a private email. I love the software. It's called Memory Manager. It's a great way to organize your digital photos. When I upload my pictures to my computer, I take a few minutes to "write" about the day, that way when I go to "scrap" my photos, I don't have to try and remember the events of the day.....they are already there!

I bought the $999 tv at Sears this year so my $$ is up this year.....I spent probably $1500 this year.

I have a program through "Creative Memories" that I use to edit them. I'm also doing digital scrapbooking. The videos that I have been doing are basically using Windows Movie Maker and putting the pictures to music. thanks for your help!!!

I'm a newbie!!! I'm also ignorant when it comes to computers. Can someone please help me? This is basically what I want to do: I take about 2000 photos a year and I love to make videos. What specs do I want in a laptop and which ones should I avoid? I'd hate to get a computer on BF and then not be able to do what I want it to do. Any info. would be greatly appreciated!
