What about the bundle at Toys R Us? Not as good? I cn't keep the price sin my head and have to keep going back to look. I need the paper ads now to finalize my decisions and plans!!!!

What store has the best deal for the GBA? I know that Wal-mart is the cheapest, but are some of the package deals better? I am thinking about the one at Target for my 5 yr old son, but if I go to Target I miss other things - no PM, open later, no doorbusters, etc. Any suggestions????

I am not sure which store I want to run to for this item. I am trying to purchase one for my five year old son, so some of the package deals seem to be better than just the GBA at Wal-Mart. Yes! I am very disappointed too! For a different reason than most, but I wanted the trampoline that was supposed to be on for the weekend - not having it at my stores! We even have 4 in our area - none of them!!!!

OK. I will try them. Is there any difference in them? I saw one at the PX for about $20 or $25 but I don't knwo anything about them. I had jsut assumed that we could use a thumb drive when I purchased the laptop but apparently our work computers will not read them. Thanks for the info!

I am just looking for an external floppy. I have tried the thumb drive but I am truing to transfer info to my work computer and it will not accept one so I have to transfer the info to a disk.

I am so neew to computer hardware. I need to get an external disk drive for my laptop and I don't know where to look or what to look for. I don't need anything fancy. Does anyone have any great suggestions? Thanks!

I ordered mine late last Wednesday and they started trying to deliver it on Friday! I finally picked it up yesterday and I am very satisfied also! I didn't get the card with mine, which I may decise to purchase later, but I have DSL and can still use dial-up at the house if I need to get online at home with the laptop. It ended up costing me $49 more than it would have at Wal-mart but I am impressed with the quality for the price and with not having to fight over them on BF. It gives me time to fight over something else - like a gamboy SP!

Thanks for allt he good tips! I still haven't figured out if he really knows the difference between the trombone and trumpet but he probably does since (of course) he is very smart! Proud Mommy speaking here of course. I thought it would be pretty funny to watch him with a trombone also but I really like the saxaphone actually - is he too young for that? that would be my choice if I could choose for him!

I totally understand where you are on this. My five year old has been asking for a trombone for at least two years now, maybe three. I haven't purchased one yet because I am jsut not sure if it will be worth it. I would prefer that he gets a trumpet than a trombone and I don't think he would mind - just wants to play a horn! I haven't looked at Kmart yet, but the basic lightsaber and the electronic one are not the same. The basic lightsaber is normally priced at a bout $7 and the electronic one is normally priced around $15-$20 (if I can remember correctly). My son wnats the electronic one, but it is not high on my list for BF!

Last year I lucked out at WM. I got the things I needed and was actually checked out and out of the store before the sale was even supposed to start - yes, I know that is against policy, but I sure wasn't argueing! I went to the other stores I wanted to go to, went back to WM, then went to the PX and PM'ed some DVD's that K-mart had advertised and didn't even have! It was a great year. Hopefully not a bad omen for this year!

I live on post so I am really excited about the PX ads - especially since you can PM there! I can't wait to see it. I was at the PX this morning and didn't see anything. Sorry for all of you who can't use this - the PX can be great for certain things - especially when you live in TN and have 9.5% sales tax offpost!!!

Why is the PX excluded? I didn't know that ah=nd it stinks! Are there any other PX eclusions I should know about? I wa planning to use that at the PX, of course!
