As for clerance, Rockfod, IL hit 75% off this monring. Thank you employees for shoping the sale before opening it to the customers. But at least my mom was able to get some of the stuff we wanted. The Wilson Yards target in Chicago was still 50% this morning. I am hoping they wait until tomorrow to go but you never know. And I must add we were buying like 5 of board games and things like that but my sister is a teacher and the school uses those as prizes for reading so many books. By going to the 75% off sale we enable more kids to be rewarded. She was at a store this morning (MI) where the resallers were and those guys had a nerve to make a comment to her about how many kids she had. We have never resold anything purchased at these sales for a profit. But I agree with others, I don't think we are gonig to stop those people who do.

Just a thought on the giga ball, got one for my nephews about a year ago. They were able to play with it maybe two times before too many of the sections had popped and we had to throw it away. At 75% it might be worth it, they loved it while it worked, just wanted to let people know our experience though.

At Meijer I was able to get some dark hot chocolate ones, I really like those but I also like dark chocolate. If you like that I would suggest trying that one.

Rockford and Machesney Park, IL hit 90% today too. I like others did not go first thing, I was just tired of going in the morning and of course it hit. I was able to score like 10 packages of goldfish and a few pjs so I was happy. Now if I could just find that Razor scooter at 75% off. I got two of the pocket rockets two years ago at 75 and my nephews love them. I thought we could add a scooter to them.

In Chicago, IL the Wilson Yards store, it was still 75 this morning...and if you need wrapping paper this is the store to go to. The one thing I did a happy dance for is they had green frosted sugar cookies that are normally 2.50 which were ringing up at 0.74 so if your store has the grocery might be something to look for.

Thanks I was able to get 8 of the zhu zhu pets. I did it in two different transactions but I have a neice and nephews who will be very happy little guys at Christmas. I bought a costume I got at 50% yesterday for 75% off and I got the 50% price back when I returned one.

I found one stray pair here yesterday that was 75% off but marked 50%. Other than that I never saw a single pair at 75%. The pair I found was hiding in the pet section so that may be why I found it.

Our pool stuff went 75% off today, the chemicals and the diving sticks and things like that. Also, I got two different tennis raquets at 75% off. And for those baseball fans out there, our cubs stuff went 75% off today, hats, shirts, shorts, etc. The white sox stuff is still full price though I think. Probably because the Cubs are not going anywhere this year.

Back to School was 75% here today too. Scissors, pencils, paper, notebooks, binders a few crayons and markers. They did have 8.5 x 11 dry erase boards with neon dry erase markers for about 2.00 and then the dry erase wall posters were about 2.50. But like others have said, they moved a lot to the regular departments. Sony Readers have not moved here, one store has them still at 15% and one has them at 30%.

I also saw the Iams cat food at two different stores for 50% off.

I got to do a happy dance today, I got a water slide today at 75% off. If you are hoping for one keep looking.

Toys hit 75% in one store here. That store normally hits the day before most.

I think I hit the store at just the right time yesterday. The Toy Story stuff at both of our stores in the Rockford, IL area are at 75%. The one in Machesney Park had just about everything still left last night around 5 pm. I somehow, not sure, was able to get some of the Thomas the Train wooden railway stuff for 75% off. I got a battery powered James and a battery operated Thomas for 8.24. Then I got the speak and greet Maithwaiter Station for 17.48. Where I did my happy dance is the gardening area where I was able to get rubber boots for the kids 75% off for 4.24 each. There were plenty of girls (pink with flowers on them) and boys (blue) left in sizes ranging from 6-7 (small) to 12-13 (xl). There were gardening gloves for 0.74 each, but I only found the girls colors. I also got some gardening tools in both pink and blue which were down to 0.98 each. Then I was able to find some Centrum Cardio for 70% off. It was the 60 count marked down to 2.74. If anyone has a child who plays soccer the soccer shoes and shin guards went 75% yesterday. Shin guards for 3.24 and soccer shoes for 4.98. Very good deal if you ask me.

My nephews have the Leapster and Diji systems. They actually like them both. The games of the Diji system is geared more toward the older kids, like first grade and up versus the leapster which has games for the younger kids.
