  1. For long lines, I take a book and a cup of Starbucks :)
  2. Yeah... but it sucks if you have to get the baby up to go with you to the store at 5am...

    Disney Store

Disney Store is opening at 3am?? Before Penney's, even? Wow. I'll ask the Disney Store in my mall what deals they might be having and if they're store-specific or across the board. They might be the only store I go to early, the ads have underwhelmed me so far.

    outlet stores ????

Oh... thanks! I actually got off my lazy butt and did some internet research, so I have lots of info now, and put it in a thread for anyone who might want the same info.
  5. Let's boycott the stores that pull their ads... wait, I don't shop at Big Lots or Wal-Mart anyway
  6. I'll be hitting the outlet malls at that shopping mecca of the West Coast, Las Vegas, and thought I'd put out all the information I've accumulated thus far. I'm new here, so can't post URLs, but all these places can be found on the web if you search for their names, which I've included here exactly as is. Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with any store, outlet mall, marketing agency, etc. I am just a shopper who enjoys having fun on BF and is really looking forward to bargain hunting this year, esp. in Vegas at the Fashion Outlets mall. Happy shopping, everyone! Enjoy! Outlet Malls in and around Las Vegas, NV Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas Located actually 45 minutes outside of Las Vegas, at the state line border between CA and NV, this is, IMO, the best of the Nevada/CA outlet malls, with a really good selection of hard-to-find stores. For me, the real gems in this outlet mall are, first, the Williams Sonoma Marketplace, the only Williams Sonoma/Pottery Barn outlet store in the western US. They already sell at rock bottom prices, and have a fantastic selection; I can't wait to see what they offer on BF. I called the store, and was told that they would have some good deals/specials, but not what they would be. I was also told that they open at 8am on BF. Seems kind of late to me! The other great find in this mall is the Burberry of London outlet; these are hard to find as well, though not as uncommon as WS. The markdown in Burberry isn't as great, but it's better than you see at, say, Coach, and the selection is very good, of not just purses but umbrellas, scarves, wallets, clothing, and coats. Other retailers of note include Hollister, Gap, Old Navy, and American Eagle Outfitters for your teens and tweens, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Tommy Bahama, Bath & Body Works, Gymboree, and the Children's Place. This outlet mall is open on Thanksgiving day from 10am to 6pm, though I didn't see any special sale information for Thursday. I didn't see any for Friday either, but will post it if I can find it. Web site doesn't have the hours for BF yet, but Williams Sonoma told me they open at 8am BF. UPDATE: I just received a reply to my email inquiry about the mall's hours and specials. Open 8am to 8pm. Well, I guess that will make it easier to shop BF in Vegas then go back to the outlet mall in the middle of nowhere for their deals... No real specials advertised for the outlet mall; the email told me to check their website for special offers, but their website doesn't give any special offers. They supposedly have a coupon book you can print out, but I couldn't see it. Las Vegas Premium Outlets Heart of Las Vegas. Open at Midnight on Black Friday. Touted as "high end," though that's a matter of taste, to me. Not a lot of stores I'd personally think of as "must have," but still some good finds. Noteworthies include: Dolce & Gabbana, United Colors of Bennetton, Chico's, White House/Black Market. Las Vegas Outlet Center Just off the strip, really just off the famous "Las Vegas sign." Open at Midnight on Black Friday. More casual lifestyle. Noteworthies include: Lane Bryant, Tommy Hilfiger, Billabong, Converse, Dickies Factory Outlet. As a bonus, sharing the same parking lot is the Disney Character Warehouse Outlet Store. Not a lot of information online about this one, and I doubt they share the same hours as the outlet mall. But I did find this review: hit-or-miss bargains on Disney theme park merchandise. This Disney's Character Warehouse is in the parking lot annex building on the south side of the Las Vegas Outlet Center. It carries discontinued, overstock and previous season merchandise from Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. Stock is always changing. They always have clothing. There is a case which holds collectible items, watches and jewelry. They often have pins, toys, keychains, magnets, and mugs. Prices range from 15% to 75% off retail prices. Sometimes I find lots to buy and other times I've found nothing. And for those of you who are interested, on the drive into Las Vegas, there are two outlet malls, across the parking lot from each other, at Barstow off the I-15. One is called just "Barstow Outlet Center" and one is a Tanger Outlet Center. They look like one big outlet mall, but in fact they are two. Barstow Outlet Center noteworthies: Children's Place outlet, Naturalizer, Sunglass Hut, Izod.Tanger Outlet Center noteworthies: Coach, Nine West, Tommy Hilfiger (children's as well), Rockport, Reebok, Gap, Old Navy. Tanger is open at Midnight on BF. No idea about the adjoining Barstow Center. Good luck and happy shopping everyone. Should you come across any information related to these stores/outlet malls, please don't hesitate to share! Who knows, I could be next to you in line on Friday!

    Disney Store

The Disney store doesn't put out an ad, I don't think. You might want to ask a person in the store?

    outlet stores ????

I'm wondering if anyone has any information on the Williams Sonoma Marketplace outlets. Its a long shot I know, as there are only like 5 in the United States, but there's a big one in Las Vegas, and, since there are several good outlet malls in and around Las Vegas, I'm making the 350-mile drive to spend BF there! Any information on Williams Sonoma or any major outlet stores/malls, particularly in the Las Vegas area, would be greatly appreciated. :) Likewise, if I learn anything, I will be sure to post it!! Thank you and happy shopping!!!
