  1. Sorry - in the title I meant 60 Hz, not 60 Hx.
  2. If like me, you didn't get the 39" Insignia 1080p TV at Best Buy for $169.99 on Thanksgiving, this is a pretty good deal on a 37" Insignia 720p TV for only $199.99 at Best Buy. Add a 5-year warranty for $39.99 or a 2-year warranty for $24.99. You also get free shipping, or you can earn $10 in Best Buy cash for each $100 spend if you choose store pickup. 3. TURBO DVD? It's available.
  4. Refresh, refresh, refresh. When will the Element TV be available??? I'm soooooo tired.
  5. Me too, I wanted the 39" Insignia. Funny thing is - all night long it said out of stock online, even before the sale started. Now the main page says "In Stores Only." So it looks like they never intended to sell any online. Why didn't they just say so from the beginning, like they did for the Dell $177 laptop?
  6. Just venting.....so don't read unless you want to hear my complaints..... I live in LA near last year's famous "Pepper Spray" Walmart, and we drove there for the 60" Vizio ($688) and of course, there were about 1,000 people waiting in line outside. And the store was already open! The store was so full that they couldn't even let more people in! So, they want me to wait 6-8 hours on Thanksgiving day for a TV? And hope for a ticket? Umm, no thanks. And nothing online this season? You think that makes me want to wait outside more? Nope, just makes me hate Walmart more than I did before, you China supporting, Mom & Pop store killer. Keep your cheap holiday TV's and shove em up your Walmart. And hey Walmart, thanks for trying to ruin my Thanksgiving this year. Making the workers work on Thanksgiving Day, and telling us consumers to skip the turkey and football games to wait outside forever in the cold for your stupid sales. Guess, what? On Thanksgiving, we are supposed to be thankful for what we have. Then on Black Friday, we rush out to get more stuff. Tonight, I realized that I AM satisfied with what I have. I will no longer worry about getting more junk I don't really need, and next year I will fully concentrate on enjoying my Thanksgiving holiday. And on Black Friday, I will be sleeping. For once. Going to bed now, for the first time on Black Friday in 10 years. Goodnight fellow gottadeal forum members! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
  7. Just venting.....so don't read unless you want to hear my complaints..... Very disappointed with Sears online "Doorbusters." They say they go on sale at certain times, so you wait, refresh, refresh, etc. and they are late (both Wednesday eve and Thursday eve). Then, when the deals are finally "online", they don't have any of the good ones (i.e. 50" TV's for $299, 39" for $199.) Nope, they want you to wait outside in person for those. Drove by there, saw about 100 people waiting for the 4 AM doorbusters at 9PM. They all want the TV. Nope - Im not gonna wait for 6 to 9 hours only to find out there's only 10 or 15 per store, and I don't get a ticket. No thanks. Keep them, I'll just shop Amazon and Ebay next year. Same thing with Walmart. I live in LA near last year's famous "Pepper Spray" Walmart, and we drove there for the 60" Vizio ($688) and of course, there were about 1,000 people waiting in line outside. And the store was already open! The store was so full that they couldn't even let more people in! Again, no thanks. And nothing online this season? You think that makes me want to wait outside more? 8. My son wants a laptop for gaming with dedicated graphics video memory such as NVIDIA 512MB or 1GB. Does anyone know if any of the laptops offered on Black Friday have dedicated video memory, or of laptops that are good for gaming? Thanks.
  9. I got a $79 Kodak camera with 4GB SD card and a camera case at Walmart online for $79 at 11 PM PST Wednesday night. Then at 7PM PST Thursday I got two Nintendo DS video games online at Toys R Us for $14.99 each (half price.) After that, I got a bunch of clothes online at Karmaloop for 25% off and got a free $40 gift card. At about 1 AM PST, Walmart's Friday deals finally took effect online and I got the Shark Steam Mop for $36. At 2 AM PST, I got a Kenmore under-the-cabinet Microwave online at Sears for $99 - normally priced well over $200 for that model. SWEET! The only place online that I paid shipping was Toy R Us, about $5. So I saved lots of wear and tear on my car and waiting outside in the cold windy weather. But like a dope, I figured I'd pop by Target to pick up a few small items - towels for $1.49, Toy Story 3 video for $13, toaster and sandwich maker (doorbuster) for $3 each. To my surprise, there was about 300 people outside the store in line - 30 minutes after the store had opened! And they were only letting in about 10 people every minutes. Forget that! I drove home and returned to my trusty computer. No lines. No shipping charges. And no nasty people cutting in front of me. Happy shopping all! :)
  10. I went to Target to get a couple of small items. To my surprise, there was about 300 people outside in line 30 minutes after store opening - and they were only letting in about 10 people every 5 minutes, so I left. With that many people there, it's unlikely there would be much left.
