Gingerbread Cookies Ingredients 1 cup white sugar 2 teaspoons ground ginger 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda 1 cup margarine, melted 1/2 cup evaporated milk 1 cup unsulfured molasses 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract 3/4 teaspoon lemon extract 4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour Directions 1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease cookie sheets. 2.In a large bowl, stir together the sugar, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Mix in the melted margarine, evaporated milk, molasses, vanilla, and lemon extracts. Stir in the flour, 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. The dough should be stiff enough to handle without sticking to fingers. If necessary, increase flour by up to 1/2 cup to prevent sticking. 3.When the dough is smooth, roll it out to 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface, and cut into cookies. Place cookies on the prepared cookie sheets. 4.Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. The cookies are done when the top springs back when touched. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.

Our local KB closed about a year and a half or even 2 years ago. Then another one in a town a little further away closed about 6 to 9 months ago. We got some great deals at that one though before they closed. They were continually marking things down til the day they closed. I was pretty sad to see both of them close though. Mandy

Hey everyone! I'm Mandy(25) and I am married to Toby(27). We will be celebrating our 9th anniversary this Friday! We have one son named Camryn who is 4 years old. We live in a really small town called Denton in North Carolina. We are about an hour from major cities such as Charlotte or Winston Salem. I'm a SAHM. I keep busy though between my son and our animals(2 cats, 2 rabbits, 2 english mastiffs, 5 hermit crabs, a hamster, and a goldfish). I love Black Friday but so far I am not really impressed by the rumored sales. I'm hoping they turn out to be better than they are looking. The coupon thing sounds like a great idea! I love this site and love all the features especially the message board. I can't wait to see the rest of the ads and also to find out for sure what the sales are actually going to be at places such as walmart and target. Mandy
