  1. Iam so mad I missed the Black Friday online event at the Apple Store, Ipod touch was 21.00 off retail price!
  2. I posted this on another thread.. The prices for this particular sales are most definetly cheaper then the BF ad! They have Ralph Lauren pillows any size 9.99! orig. up to 40.00. That's a early morning special I believe. Outerwear is something like 50-75% off for men, and 50-60 percent for womens, plus the coupon?!! I'll be there when the doors open!

    Hollister?

Hollister and Abercrombie never have BF sales. You might be able to find some clearance items. I was just there over the weekend at our local mall and Hollister had a whole room full of clearance items. I've been shopping at Hollister and Abercrombie for many years now, and my nephew works at Abercrombie. He says that every year since he's started there he always gets people on BF asking him why they don't have BF sales, and his response is "they never do". Thank God both of my girls are old enough to work because they buy there own clothes from there.. my wallet's a bitt heavier since !

    Macy's

Very dissapointed in the macy's ad this year. There having a 1 day sale this Wednesday the 19th, with preview day the 18th and the sales are much better that day then on Black Friday. I also have coupons as well to use this Wednesday. They have a turkey roaster with rack for 6.99! Its a early morning special from 7-1pm. I think this has been the best sales so far that Macy's pulled out! Can't wait!
  5. This has been an ongoing discussion in my household. I have two DDs one is 22 and the other is 15. My 22 year old says that my 15 yr old is too old to go trick or treating. I say its o.k. because the kids have a good time. All her friends dress up and they meet at our house and I make fun "halloween" themed snacks for them and then they go out. Trick or treating is only until 7:00pm in our town, so there back by 7:30ish and they go to a haunted house afterwards. I see nothing wrong with it. I would have to say we get about equal amounts of high schoolers and little kids at our house. So I say once your out of high school, then trick or treating should stop.
  6. Yes I believe they did last year, I was one of the first ones in the store on BF and was done within 20 minutes! Got the items which I came for and left. I was very surprised at the lack of people there when it opened last year. Iam sure as the day went on it got busier. Can't wait till this year BF!
  7. I was in Target on Sunday and I haven't noticed anything that unusual yet I do remember in the past the toy dept. being loaded, but nothing to exciting yet.
  8. O.K. 1. People who act like wild animals when the store opens 2. People who bring babies in strollers at 4:00am 3. People who complain about the crowds That's about it
  9. Well, first of all I like to say, my tradition only involves ME. My husband and the rest of my family and friends all think I am out of my mind for doing this every year. After we get home from Thanksgiving dinner, I pull out all the sales ads, my cheesy christmas pen and my cheesy "Christmas" pad of scratch paper. I start my going through all the stores and making a list of each store I want to go to, and what I am going there for and then attach any coupons that might be associated with the ad. I take the sales paper, my list and coupons and fold them neatly by my purse. I sit down and pour myself a nice glass of wine and sit there and think what it's going to be like in the morning. I go to bed, and get up by 4 am and grab a venti coffee from starbucks and off I go. I am always home by noon with all my goodies. My husband just shakes his head when I walk in the door at noon. I just can't seem to get anyone to come with me. My girls are older now 22 and 15 and neither one are interested either, oh well, I will just keep it to myself. With all do respect... there are a few stores I do not go to and Walmart is one of them. I usually stick to Macys, Express (yes express opens at 5 am, with excellent deals and coupons), Best Buy, Target, and a few others. Can't wait till this year's BF!
