  1. It's almost 1pm in the afternoon of Black Friday, and I searched everyehere for the XBOX 360 250GB bundle for $199 but only could find some for $299, all other sites were sold out online, and Best Buy is tooo far from me (and sold out online). I was checking the black Friday site and lo and behold, Santa answered my prayers.... Microsoft website selling them for $199 http://www.bradsdeals.com/deals/xbox-360-250gb-bundle-200-shipped-p84260.html
  2. Umm, I saw one on KBToys in an email for $59, but the sale ended on Nov 12. Keep trying to look there too. My DH bought our kids theirs last summer for the birthdays for about $89?
  3. Not sure if a dollar is enough to make up for the ignorance and ill tempers at walmart, not to mention the crowds that I really won't be able to bear. I will always hit Walmart last since their blitz's always have lots no, LOTS of overstock and their doorbuster sales continue until they eventually run out of stock! True, if I find a cheap laptop, I might hit Wal*Mart since Wal*Mart is closer than BB being 1.5 hrs away. I shop always at Wal*Mart for everything usually, but lately K-Mart has been drawing my business. Especially Halloween costumes the week before Halloween they were 40% off, then 50% off with a HUGE selection. Walmart had tons of the same ones (cheap looking) for $20+. I was tempted to tell everyone at Walmart to go to Kmart that were shopping for costumes! LOL Sorry but since Sam Walton died, Wal*Mart, still saves me money on groceries, everything including customer service and morale has gone downhill. Not to mention the sneaky tactics they are trying to use .
  4. Hee hee me too! Luckily I got my Wii for the kids from Walmart for $249, by calling ahead to see if their trucks delivered a batch, my store got 25! I also got a (probably elcheapo) karoake machine for my daughter (age 7) from Dollar General for $39. Maybe elcheapo, but we can use CD karaoke discs (not cassette) and hook up to the TV. Really didnt want to spend $200 on something and have it break soon too! No Karaoke machines delivered a 4 star rating or higher that I could find. I feel very accomplished today!!!! Black Friday I can take my time! Hubby said I had this very strange look in my eyes today like a madwoman! LMAO I HAD to get a WII before the Christmas rush. I remided him about the Cabbage Patch Doll year, and last year with WII and the Tickle Me Elmo, and the PS2 debut year...Then he undertood! LOL Good Luck to all of you!
  5. OOOH OOOH! I got one! Calhoun, GA Walmart got 25 in today and I rushed there to get the only 1 Wii that I needed! PHEW!!!! $249.
  6. Check Walmart, call electronics and find when their trucks come in, they advertise bundles, but most stores will prob ably have just the 249 system.
  7. Careul buying high end electronics from Ebay. Many ppl are getting ripped off from sellers from China and you can't return it it China, costs as much as the item. Golf clubs, dolce handbags, electronics are on teh top ripoff lists from Ebay. We bought a $300 golf club from ebay and found out after the purchase that it was a "cloned" ebay site. The seller ID was cloned so we cancelled it. It came from China anyway and had a hard time getting money back from Paypal, but finally got it fixed and paypal let us send the item to them instead of China....
  8. The lite vs DS took me a bit to get used to comprehending it myself. The lite is actually like it says: DS Lite:It is lighter, more compact, brighter and the little stylus (stick thingy) is more chunky so it won't fall out and get lost as quickly as in the regular DS. I have to buy 3...... All 3 kids want one, they have an original DS, and 2 SP's. DS is on its last legs (bought refurbished from ebgames last year) and the SP's got from ebay used to save some money. This year luckily we are a little better off. I am still hesitant on buying the DS games because they are so tiny, the little ones already lose the SP games as it is.
  9. Me too...My daughter is 8 and I checked the Amazon site but left it disappointed. Either there aren't that many sales of them and people rating them, or they all pretty much don't work very well or break easily. Check Amazon.com and see if there are any that seem to suit you.
