  1. The camera I'm talking about is actually down to $39.99 in today's Target weekly ad, which is a great price for that. We found that deal when we scanned the cameras on the price check scanners in the store. It came up "$59.99" and then under that it said "Printer Promo". So we asked a TRU employee what that meant, and they said that with the purchase of ANY digital camera in the store, you could get that printer (Epson CX7400) for $20 each. The printer retails for $50-$70, so it was definitely a good deal. Then when I came home, I found a $75 MIR on the printer, so it'll come back to be free (maybe even make money on it depending on how Epson handles it when the printer is less expensive than the MIR price.) It's not advertised in the store anywhere. I think it was lightly mentioned in the Big Book or something, but you could ask your TRU if they are still doing the deal.
  2. No offense to the OP, but my Mom had order these for the grandkids. They were $39.99 in the first toy catalog JCP sent out a few months ago, so I'm not sure what they mean by regularly $70 if it started out at that price? Anyway, tbh, they were pieces of crap. Very cheap looking. When we tested them out, it took about 3 pictures and a 15 second or so video before the memory was completely full. She returned them and bought the VTech Kidizoom cameras for $59 each, which I helped her find at TRU. She got them on a promo if we bought the cameras, she could get an Epson Stylus 3-in-1 printer/copier/scanner for $20 each, which also had a rebate on it. Can't beat that. The VTech cams blows the JCP one out of the water. It has more capabilities, it's a lot nicer, and kids can view their photos on the TV or a PC. Sure, it's a bit more expensive, but you get more bang for your buck. Better $60 for something your child will play with constantly than $40 for something that they will get bored with quickly because of it's limitations. JMHO and no offense to anyone. Happy Holidays :)
