No offense to the OP, but my Mom had order these for the grandkids. They were $39.99 in the first toy catalog JCP sent out a few months ago, so I'm not sure what they mean by regularly $70 if it started out at that price? Anyway, tbh, they were pieces of crap. Very cheap looking. When we tested them out, it took about 3 pictures and a 15 second or so video before the memory was completely full. She returned them and bought the VTech Kidizoom cameras for $59 each, which I helped her find at TRU. She got them on a promo if we bought the cameras, she could get an Epson Stylus 3-in-1 printer/copier/scanner for $20 each, which also had a rebate on it. Can't beat that.
The VTech cams blows the JCP one out of the water. It has more capabilities, it's a lot nicer, and kids can view their photos on the TV or a PC. Sure, it's a bit more expensive, but you get more bang for your buck. Better $60 for something your child will play with constantly than $40 for something that they will get bored with quickly because of it's limitations. JMHO and no offense to anyone. Happy Holidays :)
