    Not honoring their own Sharper Image gift card!

    I wonder if you bought the gift card with a credit card if you would have any protection? Could call the cc company and say hey I bought this bought they won't honor it? That might be one way to try to get some money back.

     

    Personally I think its fraud and think it should be illegal. You paid for x number of dollars of merchandise in advance, and you should be able to receive the merchandise anytime you wish. Heck the store gets your money interest free till you use it anyway.

    The only problem with that is a lot of stores won't let you purchase a gift card with a credit card. "Cash only" is the policy for a lot (if not all) of places.

    I think that really stinks

    Thanks for all the replies guys! I actually posted this for a friend (he sends me out on "good deal searches")! He needs new clothes so he came to me and asked where the best place is to get big & tall - I said "I don't know but I'm sure someone on Gottadeal" will!!! I love this site

    Engagement ring

    I am looking for an engagement ring for my friend's son (who is in the Army and getting ready to ship to Iraq) to give to his girlfriend. She has found one that she liked but they can't find it anywhere. It has a round diamond and the ring itself is camouflage. I tried to put the picture of it on here but didn't know how to do it. He is leaving for Iraq next month and he wants to get the ring to give to her before he goes. Please help me find it!!

    Boots with those fuzzy little balls on them

    I am looking for a pair of those boots that have the fuzzy little balls hanging off of them for my daughter. I want the mid calf ones. She takes size 6.5 in womens. She can't wear anything with a heel so they have to have the flat bottoms. I saw these things everywhere until she wanted a pair!!! I have seen them online for $50 on up but I am pretty against paying that much for kids shoes when they outgrow them so quickly.

    I just purchased a Panasonic 50'' Plasma TV for my husband and it is in the process of being shipped. I was just wondering if anyone know what kind of cables we would need to hook it up and where I can get them for a good price (not into paying $90 for cables). Going to be hooking up to a directv box. Also, I have heard that you can't hook up a playstation 2 to hdtvs - is this true and if so do they make a cable that makes it possible to hook one up to the tv?

    When we moved into our new house in May, we got all kinds of 10% of any purchase at Home Deopt. Like an idiot, I threw all of them away (they would probably be expired by now anyway). We are getting ready to install laminate floor in our living room and the 10% coupon would be great since it's a big purchase. Does anyone know where I can find another one of these coupons?     I am from around Cincinnati, OH and I was just at KB Toys on Sunday. They are running a sale right now for buy 3 toys get the 4th free. Also, I got a RoboPet (which was $80.00 last Christmas) for my little boy for $25.00. The cashier also told me that if the price drops anymore within the next 90 days to bring in my receipt and they will give me the difference. The 90 day thing goes for everything in the store. I thought that was pretty good.....
