I take credit that year for urging my now husband to leave Bloomington before they closed I-70 to Illinois. I rule.

Why am I waiting until Wednesday? What do you think I was doing this weekend? Besides, I'll be with my In-Laws that night, a good 3 hours from the mall where I'll be shopping.

I try to shop year round, but I always finish the list by noon that Friday. I will then try to avoid all stores save the grocery store from then on, but since DH won't BEGIN shopping until the weekend before Christmas, *sigh*, I'll probably buy a couple little things then.
