    The harry potter sets I got were the burrow, the one with the spider and the one with dobby (large set, medium set, small set) HTH

     

    BUT I was in a TX Target yesterday and none of them rang up on sale...so strange.

     

    I got some duplo cars legos today for a bday gift for a 4yr old and the other brand "legos" in a bulldozer for $1.xx! Shrikadinks for $4.xx and the bubble blowing jet for 2.xx

    I think I'll rehit stores tomorrow and see if new stuff marked. none of the batman/cars/harry potter stuff was marked but i had so much i couldn't be bothered to check. Come to think of it didn't see any lego's marked but there were lots of clearance shelf tags. Sucks shopping alone w/ little trunk space, i had to go to grocery and was paranoid the whole time(10min) that someone would break into car.

    Very little of our lego sets were actually marked, I loaded up, SCANNED everything and put back what I didn't want. I was suprised the Spongebob ones were full price since I scored some clearance at Kmart. I saw two big starwars fighter jets of some kind (big box/big set) but am not a SW fan (don't throw things at me I get it all the time already) and I left them there. The cars lego sets were both the little legos and bigger toddler type ones ....the mack truck was not marked down at my store :(

     

    I got POTC, Harry Potter, Atlantis, Cars sets and saw star wars so you know where to look. Also the Batman building trios might be good for a smaller lego fan that also likes batman.

     

    I know what you mean about the trunk space. I was in a town over and in DH's TRUCK so everything was in the truck bed! Granted it has a lockable bedcover I just kept thinking of how easily that could be broken/opened! It didnt help that I was on edge because we were in less than desirible neighborhoods trying to help my baby sister find a new apt. because she is trying to get out of a bad situation...OYE I was glad to get home and parked in my garage!

    I walked out with $200 worth of toys but I hit the LEGO lottery...when you can pick up the $80 sets for 19.98 you tend to go kinda bonkers...

     

    these are the ones I can remember

    Harry potter the burrow (one set in the truck had the spider..)and the small freeing dobby because I HAD to have dobby!

    POTC one with horsecoach and BIG white top bay set (one of the small sets in the truck)

    Two BIG Atlantis sets one is undersea exployer (other is the other big set its in the truck right now) and the angler attack

    Cars ulitimate fransesco and classic mater

     

    There were a FEW sets I wanted still 50% off :( Left them there but left with 10 sets @ 75% with no repeats!:shock:

     

    I also grabbed the

    furry frenzies scoot and scurry city 7.74

    furry frenzies fur stars on tour with zoomin stage (tour bus!) 4.98 both sets came with a furreal pet...

    a few 3D chalk sets with the mega chalk 2.38

    kerplunk 3.88

    and my deal of the day that I haven't seen mentioned I scored a few unmarked

    VREADERS for 14.98 pink only!

     

    My store had a TON and I hated leaving it all there but my kids are just outgrowing "toys" I almost bought all the big TRIO batman sets just because..and the cars stuff 'bout killed me

    We are doing my son's room in baseball and doing an entire wall of baseball cards, he has a GOOOOOD collection but we need double that, I am looking for about 1000 baseball cards in bulk. Decent condition, team player, year does not matter.

    And to add to those back to school steals thanks to PP I got free 2pk sharpies but ALSO I printed the $1 off any papermate and $1 off TWO Bic items so I walked out with a 2pk sharpies for FREE, 2 packages of bic pens for 0.98 and a 10pk of papermate pens for 0.09

    Print those coupons NOW they expire in a few weeks so the deals might get BETTER :)

    OMG school is set already :( Crayons and glue already marked low (I am one of the ones that buys at LEAST 50 boxes of crayons this time of year!) Both Walmart and Target here have them 0.40..I am holding my breath for 0.25

     

    Does anyone know off the top of their head what color dot the Suess stuff has on it? I want to get our team girls all a bag if they have been marked down!

    Does he like sports at all? My son LOVES baseball, like BREATHES it and we got him MLB extra innings when he was 5...he learned so much of his mental baseball just from playing that game that he moved him up to play with the 7-8yr old league the next year....it was amazing how it helped him, he actually turned a ground ball to himself at shortstop into a TRIPLE play once and was pretty bummed they did not count it (it was coach pitch ball) which is why we moved him up LOL

     

    So a new MLB game every year is always on the top of his list. He does play the Lego series too and both little big planet games.

     

    He sometimes will play character games but not too often. He's never really been into character type games.

     

    Does he have any of the guitar hero/rockband games? My son was also 5 when he started those. He also occasionally plays SKate or Tony Hawk's ride but not near as often. He has a game called Stuntman (I think) that is always played when he has friends over...it takes some coordination.

    I picked up a power washer today for $32.48. My store had an entire endcap full with a clearance sign showing the $32.48 price but the sticker on the box shows $90.98. Friday I saw some Sonia K make-up brushes for 50% off. I bought a set b/c I needed them and today I made a quick trip to T and checked them again and they were almost all gone. There were 3 different sets of brushes and a set of eye pencils.

    Darn I found one today buts its scanning 64.96 with a clearance tag of 90.98 :(

     

    I found liquid TIDE (the one that looks like old school) for 50% off thats it! If you have a coupon its a good deal :)

    I'm not sure about the HUGE ones. There was only one big one at this store and it wasn't marked down. But it was hanging in a different area, so it's possible that they just forgot to mark it and the ones at other stores might be.

     

    I'm hoping to get two of the big stadium ones (one of each of the two teams in our state...my son likes both) but I think it's going to be hard to find them when they get marked down! I got one of the smaller ones for $9.98 today, though, so I'm happy!

    thank you again, we scored Rangers Kinsler, Young and Hamilton for 13.98...Nolan Ryan (Astros) was ringing up full price but she overrode it for me...not sure if that means all of them are not on sale or not??? I decided that I have better photos of the field I am going to take in to get blown up then the one they had ....which will be cool since it will be personal....I agree they most likely won't make it past 30% because my store in NEW MEXICO was selling both TEXAS teams and they are almost gone now that they are clearanced :( I got the very last Kinsler, Young and Hamilton in my store (more Astros left than Rangers) we also go the last Old skool Nolan Ryan....

     

    I scoped out alot of garden but its still ringing up 30% (SOME 50%) in my store. They had the down really thick mattress topper for 50% and I wanted a few for the cabin beds but they only had King size left :( A few complete toddler bedding sets for 50%. Very few toys marked down at my store so far and they were all weird odd and end things. I did score a lindt chocolate bar for 0.14...they were clearanced for $1.14 and I had $1 off 1 coupon :D

    Saw one of my stores that seemed to be starting the toy clearance today...they had filled a few endcaps with new 30% off clearance. No movement on the Kung Zhu stuff there, though. They definitely will all be marking down toys in the next week or so in order for the big 75% off markdown to happen the last week of July.

     

    The MLB prints were down 30-50% off at one of my stores and not marked at all at the other one.

     

    I saw TONS of clearance in almost all departments...most of it is just 30% off right now, but housewares, decor, clothing, shoes, and toys all have a ton.

    THANK YOU, I will head over tomorrow while DH can watch my son..did this include the HUGE one or just the smaller ones? My DS is going to LOVE YOU!

    Majority of garden was 30% with a few random things at 50%....they have tons left so I am hoping to score a few larger things for at least 50%. My store had 3 netbooks but we don't need them. We got several DS, PS3, Wii games for 4.98. I got koolaid for 0.11 (50%) Patiently awaiting pool clearance again this summer! Same toys still lingering at 50% and clothing clearance seems to be stalled at 30-50% too! Things still leftover from CHRISTMAS (jammies/long sleeves/ect) My store still has LOTS of girls jeans @ 75% but mostly sizes 10 and up left or size 4.

    I saw a MLB Colorado Rockies mascot (Dinger) Pillow Pet at Target. They weren't on sale/clearance, but they are so cute! I'm not even a baseball fan and I wanted one. :D

    If you are a MLB fan then you should check your store for your local teams mascot in Pillow Pet form.

     

    So cute!

    We have the TEXAS one ....I can share a picture 2morrow. I REFUSED to buy the kids pillow pets for christmas (I HATE clutter) but had no problems buying this one :P
