I have shopped online the last 3 years, but decided to go out last night. I won't do it again. The check out lines were so long that I ended up buying everything in my cart on the store's website from my cell phone while I was standing in line. All the stories of violence and other problems... It's just not worth the savings. I plan to go back to online shopping again next year.

I went to TRU to get a Power Wheels and some B1G1F video games. Got there at 7:00 and they opened at 9:00. The line was around the building, but not too bad. By opening it was wrapped around again! Glad I wasn't those people. :)
The Power Wheels was out when I got inside and there were none of the "good" video games shown in the ad. I picked up some other items and got in line. 1 1/2 hours later I pulled up the GottaDeal online tracker to see what was available on the website. I purchased everything I had in my cart online from my cell phone and left my items behind in the store. We probably had another 45+ minutes left to get to a register.

Now I have to go get another paper and see if it's in there.

iTunes canceled here too! Total bull bc now I paid for something that THEY canceled, they took my money and now I have to wait to get it back.

Well, the Ipad 2 must not of been very popular or they had alot of them one. They are still showing add to cart.
I see that on the search page, but when I follow the link to the product page "add to cart" become "sold out online."

I am still waiting on my instruction email for the $100 iTunes card that I got for $60. It says order in the process of being fulfilled. I paid 7 hours ago, so not feeling hopeful. I just emailed customer service...

I'm on my iPhone. When I clicked the link from the Gotta Deal app and followed through from the page that opens in the app it stayed $80. When I went to Safari (still on the iPhone) and to GottaDeals page and used the link that way I successfully checked out at $60. Weird!

Once you get to the final review page it updates to $60.
I just checked out and it's true. Suddenly becomes $60. Woo hoo!

Thanks I am definetely going to tomorrow! If they will pm then that will save me the trouble of going to WM. I definetely would like to do all my shopping at TRU this year. When I call them what could they do..... can I get them to provide me with something for BF as far as their pm policy? I'm not sure how to handle it once I have spoken with corporate and they of course reiterate what you just said...I don't want to be arguing with a manager or cashier on BF :) I'm sure the evening will be alot to begin with for them. I have had this problem at WM. They say their company policy is that you don't have to show them an ad to pm but I have had more than one cashier tell me I need it...........and thats just over something trivial like peanut butter lol. Thanks for the help I just really want BF to go off without a hitch ya know? It seems like not all employess get the new policy or certain stores do what they want as far as deciding to honor it. I really hate that,
If you want to private message me your email address I have no problem forwarding my email convo with corporate customer service. I am going into TRU tomorrow to have a polite chat with the manager. I printed out my email from corporate and I'm just going to ask if the information is correct. If there is any question or disagreement I'll nicely ask them to call corporate and double check. If everything checks out I'm going to write down the managers name on my email print out and have that in hand on Black Friday.

Does anyone see on the ad if it says "Not valid on prior purchases"? I contacted Toys R Us corporate and found out they are doing price adjustments (as long as it doesn't say the above) AND holiday price matching! The text of the email response is below.
Thank you for contacting Toys "R" Us in regards to our Price Match Policy. If you purchase an item and within seven days find that there is a promotion lowering the price of the product, you are able to request a Price Match. Please bring your receipt along with the advertisement (you do not need to bring the actual item). Please make sure, that the promotion or coupon that lowers the price of the product, does not state "Not Valid on Prior Purchases".
In addition, we are also offering a temporary Holiday Price Match policy. Toys "R" Us will Price Match with competitor's advertisements. Simply bring a competitor's printed valid advertisement and we will match the Price for a product advertised at a lower price than our stores. This policy is effective until December 25th. The item must be present at the competitor store and the promotion must be active. If you have already purchased the item at Toys "R" Us and notice that a competitor advertisement offers the product for a lower price, we will refund the difference to you in the form of "R" Us merchandise credit. The "R" Us stores should be promoting this Holiday Price Match policy. Let us know if we can be of any further information or assistance. The promotion started on Week
41 and ends on December 25th. The exceptions to this policy are as follows:

Prices were live at my Walmart in Arizona too. Skylanders and Disney Infinity were both already sold out of what had been on the shelves. The guy in electronics refused to put out the ones in the back bc he said he didn't think it was fair to the people that show up tomorrow for the real sale. The pink girls crossbow was also sold out.
