Has anybody heard of Hisense HDTV ? I saw one in the store and there is not many reviews on it? I usually will spend a little bit more to get a name brand but the price is really good.

Man I was really starting to get into the black friday groove and then came back here. Yall have made me depressed , but the truth is the truth. There are a few good things in the Ads, but it all depends on what you had your heart set on. Maybe we should make a black friday wish list mid way through next year and then we can send it to all the major retailors as a Gottadeal Family. We are truly the only real Black Friday site and hard core shoppers. Maybe if we tell them what we would like to see then they can work to please us ? -
I am a man and he would love a MANCATION. It is a vacation tailored to men. It is an all inclusive vacation. They have several different ones out there. You do some different things. It is usually for 3-5 days and everyday is a new adventure. I saw one that was in afica that was AWESOME!!!!!!! Safari stuff , yachting / fisihing etc. Me personally love Whales. I am hoping for my anniversary next year my DW will take me Whale watching:lolrun:

I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU It is so much fun when you have set a certain abmount aside for shopping. I have fun even if I am on a tight budget but it is fun to know that you can buy something extra and even something for you. I try to do this every year. This year I even saved for a new TV! -

. Staples has the BlackBerry Tablet for $199 that is great. I am not a big Black Berry fan but it does everything the Ipad does for half the cost. This is a great buy, but I am not sure about all the other items. -
I am not looking anymore. I will be buying me another TV this year on black friday. I was thinking about a 47" but it the price is right I would love to have a 55-60". I like LCD better than Plasma. IMHO it looks better.

I am not sure if anyone saw the Staples Black Friday add, but the Blackberry Tablet will be $199.00. I think that is very good. I am not sure what type of apps you can put on it but from a business stand point I might get me one. It does everything the ipad does but for half the cost.

I am not a rebate person. I usually skip them, but this year aropund school time staples had a lot of good items with there easy rebate. I held my breath at getting a check but was suprise when it arrived, but still I will most likly pass on any rebates on black friday. I think that the stores should wait for the rebate and pass the savings on to the customer. They have a better chance at getting there money then we do. All they have to do is threaten not to carry there products anymore and BOOM ... Check magically appears

This is what I was thinking. Our mall is pretty big and the entrances are different. I would think they would do it in the parking garage, but who knows. We do have valet parking. It is usually like $5, but on special days Valentines and stuff it is like $10-15. Parking is crazy. I usually take my SUV because we have to park in the grass, on a hill etc. Then I have to walk far to get in, but it doesn’t bother me. My adrenaline gets to pumping just seeing the crowds, but my age is really starting to show this year. Everything hurts I bought it so I guess I will let everyone know how it goes on Black Friday.

I was thinking the same thing. The mall does have a awesome food court and I was wondering if it would be from some of there vendors. I think it might be good. Especially since it seems like an alday thing. I can leave and go somewhere else and comeback to the same spot and eat again. . The more I think about it the more I want to do it.

I am not sure if this should be posted here or not, but I got an email about a deal , see below : Black Friday VIP Shopping Experience for Two On the first day of Christmas shopping, our true love sent to us, not a bird in a fruit tree, but a gift list a mile long. Rest ye merry, because you can take advantage of the best mall bargains with VIP parking on Black Friday. Pay only $20 (regularly $40) to enjoy a reserved parking place at the Malls location on November 25. Your package comes with a preferred parking pass (which includes all-day in-and-out privileges) and access for two people to a VIP lounge, which has refreshments provided throughout the day. You'll be decking the halls of your home more joyfully once you've made the most of your purchasing power while simultaneously enjoying the A-list treatment. Just hurry: As all Black Friday veterans know, great deals like this one won't last long. I was wondering is it worth it. I do not mind walking and normally I am there early anyway so I get decent parking spot. But if they would let me in to shop a little earlier then I would be game.. What do you think ? Update: here's the details: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/livingsocial.php - Brad

I understand what you are saying, but let’s not get to crazy. Most people are working for a check not to keep us safe. They went to school or took training fully aware that this is what they have signed up for. Just as someone in retail has. Thos same people that are trying to keep us safe as charging way more than any of those retail store. Go to the hospital and you will see. 2 Tylenols for $40.00. -- - - GET REAL ---.If some of the stores was open on Christmas than so be it. They might not be there trying to get that last dollar. They might just be open for that last gift you need to get or for that person that just showed up and you did not have anything for them. Take some of the drug stores they are open but the pharmacy is closed on Christmas, why because they understand people will need something. I do not have to like it or agree with it. I am just merely stating facts.

I am not sure. I have never of thought of it that way. I usually go to Kmart at least to pick up something especially if they have a very good door buster. The way I see it people have to work in other professions (i.e. health care, public safety, energy and legal to name a few) One profession is no better than the next. But after reading your post I will give it some thought, but a deal is a deal ... and if you’re on a budget you have to make it stretch

I shop alone. My DW stays with our children. I meet up with my DB in some stores but we usually split up so that we can cover more ground. I get the things he needs at the stores I go to and vise versa. I like to do it alone because I can get in and out faster that way. But it is very hard to push 2 or 3 buggies at once, but I get it done.

Great posts. I did not even think of this... .Man I am going to be so organized this year. YEAH ME ..............

Man this is kind of Harsh ...... but the sad part is it just might be True. . ... Time for a Black Friday Bailout
-
Just a thought .... Does the Midnight openings mean longer lines at the 5am openings ? Do we really have a choice if they open at Midnight to wait ? We might not get the items we want ....
-
I am kind of stuck. I am an avid Black Friday shopper. I like the standing in line, the adrenaline pumping, and the anticipation of what I can get. I like the build up and the fight for my items, but depending on which store it is and what’s on sell I might go out. My dilemma is that Thanksgiving night has always been the night we (my DW and 2 DD) put up our tree. We turn on the Christmas music, sing and decorate the tree. I am not usually done until about 10:30 or 11. I also get up early on Thanksgiving to go to Kmart to catch there sales. Most likely I will not do the Midnight thing unless it was a must have item.

I usually get mine out of the sundays paper. I hope they have not changed it up. That is usually the only way I know what to buy my daughters. They have learned how to record stuff on tv just because I always say I have no idea what your talking about. So now they will just show it to me.

When is it officially Christmas time in your house?
jesusluvu replied to dwc designs's topic in 2011
THANKSGIVING NIGHT. My wife, kids ( 2 -dd ) and myself put up the tree, listen to christmas music and bake cookies. I then set out my ads and fine tune my plans for black friday. This year I want to put it up a little earlier so that I can get a few hours sleep before I hit the lines. My bones are starting to ache so the have to rest them before I use them to there max. -

With The Economy This Year Are You Cutting Back for Black Friday?
jesusluvu replied to bfaddict1977's topic in 2011
I am not cutting back, but staying the same. I drastically cut back about 65% last year and will stay at the amount. I have big families on both sides and 2 dd and my wife. I try to get the things I know they will really enjoy and play with. Last year 1 of my DD asked for the Zhu Zhu pets and I did not get it because I thought she would not play with it much and because you had to buy so many pieces to get it to work well. When she opened all of her stuff she was sad and said “All I really wanted was a Zhu Zhu pet " and you could see the hurt on her face. So this year I am sticking to what they asked for, but what’s with in my budget as well. I will be taking the Dave Ramsey approach as well PJ's on Christmas Eve something they want something they need something to wear something to read (sometimes I fudge this one and do a puzzle or a board game instead) 1 gift from Santa, and Santa fills their stockings I love this as well and will make this my family motto this year: -
Which Target and what area ?
