I hit KMart tonight. I was able to get the bat and ball game for $5. I have a question about the potato heads, though. How did you get $5 off for the potato heads? I only saw $2 coupons. The heads at my KMart were not on sale. They were $7 and I only had a $2 coupon, so I didn't get them.

Thanks everyone for the info. I am always cautious because I got scammed awhile back on some subscriptions. I had already ordered 11 of these subcriptions before you posted at $10each, but at $5 went ahead and added a few more.

Nikon......I only buy Nikons or Canons, though. Have never had a problem (I'd consider myself an amateur). They take great pixs!

I am always the skeptical one, but just because it says the publisher's name at the bottom doesn't mean it's the actual company. There is a hearstmags.com (without the additional info on the link provided), but the price there is $15 for a year. I can't find anything on their actual site for the $5 deal. I did email the company to make sure it was a legit offer before ordering. I'm waiting on a response. OP, where did you find the $5 off link? Was it from an email directly from the company? If so, then it should be fine.

At my Walmart it was the High School Musical 3 version. Great price since it does come with the mic.

Suzy, since there's not a model# listed, I can't be sure this is the EXACT same one, but there is a Toshiba laptop at walmart.com for $298 that lists identical specs. I'd say, based on the BF sales, this is an excellent deal for what you are going after. WM had a similar deal (Hewlett-Packard- $298 for 3GB) a couple weeks before BF and they flew off the shelves. The best deal for BF was a HP 2GB for $200. This is $100 more, not a BF item and has 1 GB more. It also a CD/DVD burner. I'm not familiar with the AMD Sempron processor, so you might want to ask around about that, but otherwised, I think this would be perfect for what you need it for. I've used these certificates MANY times and have never had a problem. I love that they have a year expiration. I personally have never used them as a gift because they don't work EXACTLY like gift cards. There is always a minimum purchase required for each certificate. For example: You buy a $10 gift card for $.80. The value of the certificate is for $10 worth of food, but it requires you to make a $20 purchase. IF you purchase a $10 gift card from the restaurant and include this certificate for the additional $ off, then it would make a great gift, IMO. You would then be paying $10.80 and giving them $20 free food from that restaurant. For those who asked, the certificate is printed out on a large sheet of paper. IMO, it doesn't look fancy enough to give as a gift. However, folded up and included with a small gift, card, it would be completely appropriate.

You can't beat the selection on used books at amazon.com or half.com. They usually have what you want and for a decent price. Goodluck!
