The group of us who drive down from Canada go back to our hotel room and show off our purchases. There are a lot of oohs and aahs and quite often a competition for the best deal of the day! No prize, just the glory.

I live on the West Coast and have been doing Black Friday for over a decade. The dollar is definitely going to help but we (my friends and family) did it even when the dollar was 62 cents because the selection, prices, and availability are better.
