thats what im thinking plus light for taking to and from class. Just was kind of curious if people had good or bad luck with sleekbooks (I've never even heard of them). One thing that drew me to it is its one of the first i3 processor laptops at that low a price. I went to Sams to get some prescriptions and found it in there so I played with it for a few minutes and really liked it. Only different is it has an I5 instead of an i3 and 750 instead of 500 gb so just the next laptop up but got a feel for it at least. I feel like I got an amazing deal because the exact same laptop as what I just got for $299 at walmart is $475 at Amazon.

Does anyone know anything on the sleekbooks? Well update just knocked one thing off my looking for list. Vera Bradleys having a one day only 60% off sale on certain prints making them really cheap so I got my laptop backpack i needed for school for $43 regular $109. Better than any deal I wouldve found on it on black friday for sure because this was a crazy discount for Vera. Now I just need to find the laptop for it on black friday lol!!!!!

Laptop, external hard drive (mine blew up 2 months ago so right now im just praying my desktop doesnt die before I can get a new external to back it up to lol), some boot style slippers, possibly some slip on australian style shoes (something like the sketcher toastys or Ugg slip ons) and maybe a vera bradley backpack for going back to college though what I want got retired this summer so I may need to hit EBAY up for that. Oh and a good enough deal on a Keurig that I could convince mom to get one.

Hate it because I have to find a cheap laptop this year and refuse to go shopping on Thanksgiving which mean i'll be navigating the nightmare that is online shopping and likely Best Buy (the worst of them all for online BF shopping) since they normally wind up with the best laptop deals. Im just praying at this point that Walmart or Office Depot have a good deal on one because they in my BF experience are pretty easy to navigate that day. Either that or that my fav black friday store Amazon has a good lightening deal on one that would make my black friday if that happened.

By far I have to say the $199 Nikon super zoom from Target last year. It takes such amazing pictures. Beyond that I would saw my 37 inch Olevia I got on BF 2007 at Target. It still works as perfect as the day I got it.

alright thanks found a windows 7 disc i had bought for an old desktop I no longer have so thinking now I might try to find a deal on a win 8 laptop on BF and just downgrade.

I am in search of a windows 7 laptop NOT a windows 8 one for college. Is there any chance of finding one on black friday or would most retailers no longer have window 7 machines?

Kohls you have to hit between 4:30 and 8 am if you do that you canhave a great experience no lines and no crazyness it seems when the first open though and after 8 when people are wanting to make it their last stop or get their doorbusters before they end at 1 it gets crazy again. We got got everything we needed crowd was lite got right into a register etc but when mom went back to use her own coupons which she forgot it was insane (about 11 am) 2 lines wrapped around the store and met in the middle making their way BACK toward the front door!!! They had to extend doorbusters to 3 so everyone in line would have time to check out

I hear good things about the Canon's for SLR's I hear good about the Nikon's too it just seems more people go for the Canons not sure if that means anything or not

Oh forgot also got the Cars 2 VReader cartirdge for 10 bucks at Big lots that was the most painless store I went to I was in and out 5 minutes there was maybe 10 people ahead of me no one in checkout with me it was great. Did just hear the Kohls lines to checkout are wrapped clear to the middle of the store and actually meet up here. They had to extend our doorbusters till 3 so people in line would have time to checkout. My jaw was on the floor at this since at 8 am it was just like any normal day at Kohls...

I git my big big big must have the $99 Nikon at Target online, $15 Great Skin doorbuster at Philosophy.com a $40 value though if you bought each iterm in it indivudally it would be around $90 so that was a steal. In store stuff at Kohls I got some kids pj's. two pairs of cuddle duds new pajamas one for me one for my cousin for Christmas, a shirt for my dad for Christmas, and a bra lol, Target I scored Twilight for $4 for my cousins birthday present which she will get at Christmas a week before and Eat Pray Love for $4 for me and Macys a $169 coat for $69. And mom just went back to Kohls for a second round because she forgot her coupons the first time (luckily I had mine lol)
