I think the Toshiba @ Staples was pretty good, too. i5, 8GB RAM, 1TB HD (and I really like the numeric keypad, too)
For $449.99 minus the $50 rebate for an extra 250gb and 4gb memory and no beats audio nor extra 3.0 usb slot? Maybe for the same amount but not $150 extra out the door.

I personally love the hunt. I believe it is an art form especially these past few years of BF shopping. Going on Amazon, waiting for a lighting deal to open then clicking at precisely the moment that it appears. Then waiting for only two days and having 20-30 packages arrive at my door. It's almost like having surprise Christmas presents under the tree on Christmas morning. There's nothing like it!

So I had an great Thanksgiving and saved LOTS of money!! I only had to go to one store this year, Walmart, which was a MAD HOUSE! Everyone is checked off my Christmas list so it was all worth it!

You must tell how it goes at Walmart. Are you going to the one on coachmen or on missouri? I would never dare to go to Walmart I'm pretty much scared.
Hi there! I'll try to go to the one on Coachman since it is now a Super Walmart. It's been a tradition for the past 7 years so I'm keeping up with it. Everyone says I'm crazy for going to Walmart but it is all part of the fun, lol. I hope you have a good time in Houston!

Ok, this is the first Target ad that I have EVER really, really liked! Although I am a little disappointed in the tv selection. I mean, would it kill anyone to have an internet capable tv on sale?
The 40" Westinghouse is a steal but at 60hz? For those who question the brand, I had a Westinghouse tube T.V. for over 4 years before it broke and that was only because it fell off the bed in my dorm room and cracked, about a 4 foot drop, and it still kept running for a couple of months. I wouldn't say it was the greatest picture, but in my book if a T.V. can work 2 months with a crack from a 4 foot drop I can say that is a GREAT brand! In case you want to know, the tv was purchased in 97'-00' (?) and had the accident in 2004.

Well, I just left Walmart no more than a hour ago and I was finally! able to get the Itunes gift cards. The csr told me that the reason they wouldn't activate was because someone in headquarters set the timer at 8 am Central time instead of 8 am Eastern. Go Figure!
Btw, he also let me buy 4 gift cards for my trouble, on two separate transactions of course. Probably because he had about 20 or so left

Same problem here with the iTunes gift cards. Was given the cards then told to come back to the store "later" to buy them. Why does Walmart always have problems with their sales?

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but the fine print mentions lines starting 2 hours prior to 10am store opening for tickets. I don't need anything but didn't want anyone missing out. One ticket per customer per item

I third the Sedu. I bought one last year around Christmas time from Folica.com in a set (paddle brush, fine tooth sturdy rat tail comb, hair clips, travel case, heat mat, dvd, mini sedu w/glove and pouch/heat mat, and 3 sedu sprays for only $150 plus I got another mini sedu for free) and I absolutely LOVE it! I've also heard that they last much longer than Chi. Pay the extra $$, you won't be disappointed!
By the way, I'm African American and I have 4b/4c natural hair and when I flat iron it and then wrap it it comes out better than people with a perm. No Kidding!

I was a returns cashier for two years and we use to refund then re-rang. I believe the policy was 7 days (I quit 3 years ago so the specifics are kind of fuzzy). It all depends on your store though, some managers won't allow it but most will.
