Wow! I like the 4g flash for $17. It may not be a big ticket item, but its a great price.... Anyone know if they will p/m if you buy beforehand?
Staples will not PM any items bought before BF. They must be bought between the hours advertised on that day only.

Is it possible that this is just a regional ad?
I am in need of a new computer chair, so I took interest in the one listed in this ad. I decided to look it up online to get a better look at the chair, but when I entered in the item description (including several variations using only one or two words from the description) I couldn’t find the item.
That puzzled me for a moment. But then I remembered that Staples makes you enter in your Zip Code so that they can tailor the results of your search so that only the items that are available in your area are shown.
Is it possible that the chair I looked up (as well as other items in the ad) might not be available in my area?
These are new chairs we just started carrying them, either they are not available online yet or Staples pulled them offline to save them for BF. Some stores might have a display model in the store to test out.

i can not see the ad and wanted to know if they are going to have a HD radio on sale for Black Friday? does any one know of any stores that are going to have a HD radio on sale for Black Friday?
There is not one posted in the Radio Shack ad I will see if I can find anything in other ads.

The next people did not show up till three.
We have been first in line both years. Good times!
Last year they passed out coupons for the doorbusters.
Yes we always pass out coupons and form a single file line to the back of the store so whoever gets there first gets first choice. Only fair way to do it and people dont get hurt.

I work at Staples and last year we had people in line by midnight the night before. If you want the TV or the Laptop I would get there extra early. The GPS will go fast also. The TomTom we have is the new version unlike many others who actually have an older Tom Tom.

Last year people started lining up the night before at the staples here in our town. By 6am open time there were well over 250 people in line. With the top items tvs and laptops being gone withinthe first 15 people or so

yes staples will price match but it must meet the limitations of the competitors ad. So any doorbusters must be withn the same time frame as the comptetitor and must be the same exact item. So if the competitors ad ends at 10am but staples ad ends at 11am and you are trying to price match something it must be before 10am or it can not be price matched. Hope that clarifies.

I don't work at walmart but I do work in retail and I know for sure that most stores have same item different UPC items. Usually though if you are nice about it and ask most will just override for you. Its the people that start griping right away about being out of something that will get nothing.

Unfortunately with so many scams going on many retailers have changed or will be changing policies. Working in retail its unbelievable how short amount of time it takes for someone to lose their receipt. I mean if you have an item 1 day and you already lost the reciepts thats your own fault. We offer to look up reciepts for customers all the time, but customers need to be more careful and responsible themselves other than just relying on these stores to bend over backwards for you. Usually the cashier at customer service is given a policy and told to follow it. Around christmas time I know where I work we are very leniant with christmas gift exchanges until 14 days after Dec 25 then we go back to following our regular policy. If people come in and are nice and are willing to work with you then we usually help them but if people come in acting mad and rude before you even say anything you can forget it because you won't get a return or refund.

Working in retail I know for a face that this does not work at Staples. I am pretty sure Best Buy won't do it either but not sure. Staples Will only honor that price on that day between those hours.

Brands are correct but I do know not all store will carry the notebook and the 42 inch LCD.

Well I will try to get the list tomorrow of the doorbuster items. I have no pricing and even some have no name brands. But will try to get some info for you. They are being extra secretive this year.

I know for a fact that staples hasnt released pricing to store levels yet. We have a list of items but no pricing. I know a 19in is on there we also we have a 32 and a 42 inch LCD HDTV also brands unkown at this moment. I will try to get more info asap.

Where Staples usually doesnt put a min on how many they have. Depending on where you live the could have as low as 8 or even up to 30-50. A bigger town means more laptops. But I would say min 8 per store.
