  1. one good way to get a good deal with Dell is to check their outlet. Usually they post refurbs, scratch and dent, ordered but never used, and customer return systems there at GOOD prices. I got an Inspiron 531 with an AMD dual core 4200+ (that rates to about 6GHz on the Intel scale because of the dual core- ie each processor is roughly 3GHz) with a 320 GB HD, 2GB of Ram, DVD-RW, and Vista Premium for under $400. It was listed as scratch and dent, but had never been used. It came with one scratch wayyyy down on the bottom of the case where the panel slides on and off (not noticeable unless you're taking said panel on or off). Otherwise, it was in PERFECT condition. I added another GB of Ram to it for less than $50 and for about $450 have a system that is more than adequate for my needs. I did add a video card to it, as most of the Dell systems on the site stock (except for the XPS) come with integrated video and those aren't really good for much of anything. Grand total for system plus all upgrades was still under $500 even after shipping.
  2. Just curious, isn't the actual red octane (publishers of GH III) guitar still wireless for the PS2? Or no? I had just assumed it was.... Learn something new every day :)
  3. I did do a search, but yours didn't come up. On physical search for it, I find that might be because you used a 3 and I didn't search that way, I used roman numerals, or because I searched for Legends of Rock. Either way, my apologies, but don't assume that people didn't search first.
  4. Don't know if anyone has someone who has this on their wish list (I have it on mine ) but I was at Costco this morning and they had a pallet of Guitar Hero III for PS2, 360, and PS3 available. PS2 version was $79 (it's normally 89 at the store) and the PS3/360 version was $89 (normally $99). This is the full version with the guitar and the game. Basically, it's $10 off what everyone else is selling the game for. I'm in the midwest, but since the game just came out, I'd assume they were available pretty widespread. Also, checked Costco dot com and this seems to be available through the site, but S+H would probably negate any savings of ordering that way.
