  1. Do these run true to size or do they run big? My DD13(size 7.5 shoe) asked for a pair of these last year and I never got them. They are the top thing on her list this year, so since she remained consistent I would like to order these for her.
  2. Thanks! I got 4 sets of the 16.99 hoodies with the matching free pants, 2 jackets, 2 vests, and a purse. It automatically discounted to free, when I added the matching pant. I was able to knock off some gifts and get my DD13 some winter clothing.
  3. Thanks for posting. My DD13 had project runway stuff on her list and I had no clue what it was, until I looked at the big book scans!
  4. What about wrestlers, transformers, legos, or nintendo ds? My DS10 wanted all of the above around that age.
  5. My mom did this for my DD13 8th birthday. My DD had begged for one for over a year. At the party, she opened it and said "Nana, she pretty, but I don't know who she looks like." My poor Mom thought she was going to get the biggest reaction and that was all she said. LOL! We just kept it, because we're african american and figured they couldn't match her any more than they did. I had sent 3 pics in, too.
  6. My DD was 12 last christmas, she was interested in a pink camera or flip camcorder, video games, new cell phone, dvd player, clothing from AE, Hollister, Abercrombie, etc..., and giftcards-so she could shop the after Christmas sales, designer purse-juicy couture, d&b, or coach, ugg boots, clique series books. I can keep going on , if you need more suggestions....
  7. My kids have always been very verbal about Christmas. I normally have to figure out how to narrow down their lists. When my DD was 3, she wanted 8 or nine dolls. We told her maybe 1 or 2. My husband and I were shocked, because by the end of Christmas day, she had all of the dolls. Each time a relative asked her what she wanted, she told them one of the dolls. She didn't get a single duplicate either. We knew we were in trouble then. :) I typically check the parents/parenting top toys of the year b/c they have kids in each age group test toys/electronics and let you know if they were interested or how the things held up. With electronics and video games, I always check reviews and consumer reports.
  8. I normally wait until Oct(Toys R Us big book), but the majority I do on BF. My kids are 13 and 10 and aren't really into toys. I don't like buying electronics to early, b/c if we have a problem. The receipt is only good for 60-90 days.
  9. I was in Plano, TX over this weekend. I had to spend $20 to get one of about 6 for 5.99.

    too soon?

Not for me!! Bring on more ads!
  11. I have 3 bathrooms. I found mirrors on sale at Hobby Lobby and Kirklands for my 2 of them. But, the builder told us we could buy mirrored glass(way cheap) and frame them with crown molding. He showed us several huge homes like this and it looked really nice. Plus, it saves alot of money. I ended up framing one of my kids bathroom mirror with mirrored glass. I really like it.
  12. We found ours by mistake near school supplies, too. We got 3 pairs, b/c my DD had my 2 nieces come over. The glasses kept falling off of their faces and they kept whining. So, during a commercial break, i got crafty and punched a hole in each side and let them pick a ribbon and we tied it around their face. They were able to dance, jump and scream the rest of the night. I tried a pair on for a few minutes and started getting motion sick. LOL! I guess I/m too old for the 3d effect.
  13. My DD13 got this camera for Christmas. We have only replaced the batteries once, since then. I found some Kodak extralife batteries @ big lots for 1.70 a 4 pack and they worked fine for this. They are good to the year 2014, so if you have a store near you, purchase several packs of them. The only complaint that she has is not being able to hear voices when she records.
  14. RATS! Both of the ones near me are closing. I have noticed in the last 6 months that their inventory was horrible.
  15. My DD had the same problem for a week and was screaming that her animals were going to die. We google it and found out that they have a new website and most people should be redirected but some aren't. Try this address: http://www.webkinz.com/us_en/ Hopefully, you will log right on.

  17. Where are these located in the store? I looked in the camera section, but didn't see any. My DD has been saving her money to buy one of these and she could purchase it now, if I find one at this price. She would be too estactic!
  18. My TJMaxx a couple of these in stock. I am sure that they were at a discounted price. If you one close to you, you might check into it.
  19. Does anyone know if we will have to use our card for each purchase? Last year I never gave them my card to record each purchase. I guess it was setup under my phone number. I was shocked when I received the coupon in November.
  20. I love their clothing. I've only had problems with their tshirts running small, so I buy a larger size. My kids clothes hold up great. Plus, I resale it in consignment and get 90% of my money back. I had it (rewards card) last year and they sent me $20 coupon in November. The best part was everything that I purchase is already dirt cheap and to earn an extra $20 makes the deal even sweeter!
  21. Oooh! I would love one of these irons, but I am too cheap. Thanks for suggesting the Sally's brand, Mandajo111. I will look into it.
  22. Wow! I have been shopping their for several years and haven't had an issue with their clothing. My DD13 is super skinny, but refuses to wear anything super tight. So we have never left out of their with a shirt that just fits. She gets a Medium in shirts and just moved up to a 1/2 in their bottoms. She also gets a Med in Hollister, Abercrombie, and American Eagle. Can you return the items that you purchase back to the store?
  23. My DD12 is super skinny and tall and she gets a medium in shirts and just moved up to a 1/2 in jeans. She wears an XL in girls, too. She tried the XS and S shirts, but she grew out of them rather quickly. I love their jeans for her because she has very long legs and their jeans come in 3 different lengths. This has been a huge money saver for us, because she always grew out of her jeans mid season. The past two summers we have found jeans on clearance 5.99. Can you tell that I love this store!
