poorly run stores then ..we've been thru a trainin video...given our updated scheduled time to work, the manager in charge has spoken with every associate shown them exactly on the map theyre suppose to be by midnight,explained what their position is responisble for..knows exactly which will be carryin walkies. whos responsible for pallet cleanup once the merchandise is sold, we had to signoff on a sheet stating we knew our exact jobs that night...we know who'll be the floaters for covering breaks..whos checkin receipts at the door...i dunno why it would be any different but it is a big corperation and i suppose managers styles differ but for us we're ready for a safe and value filled black friday

if you look at the very bottom of the first page on the circular ad youll see exactly what items come on sale at 12:01 and which at 5 and the last page of the circular is the saturday sales

if you look closely at our circular on the bottom of the front page youll see this......pages 1-8 5am-11am........pages 9 -23 midnbight specials runnin all day fri.......back page saturday only sales...hope this helps

once again please contact ur local store and ask management..our qlines once formed will stay in tact..no gettin a ticket and wandering around i printed up the passes last night to hand out if you need to leave the line for a bathroom break...the whole point of the line is to have order...good luck and stay safe

not goin to be that big gift year here either but...i have only one child an adult daughter who lives away from me and christmas is the one time of year i always know she'll be home and we keep alot of the same traditions as when she was little..its her time to be childlike again,its my time to remember christmases past and think about future ones that will include hopefully grandchildren...perhaps its something simple you need...bake favorite treats from your childhood,get a real tree and enjoy the smells, play those silly childrens christmas songs and sing along...its time for us to take our holidays back and make them personal again..its really not about things it is after all a day to celebrate the most perfect love..i wish you all a happy holiday

there are 2 lg blurays players for sale,both are 65.00 one is just for today the other is in the circular ad startin today ...one does have netflix i jus cant remember which one lol was crazy when i left work i jus remembver seein one of the boxes with the netflix logo

our store is handing out tickets for the hot items and same as last year if u leave the line u take the pass and have an alloted time to get back in line when the number of tickets corressponding with the number of items are handed out the line is roped off...first ticket is handed out when the first person is in your line.. if you come in my line at 10 im stuck there with ya till 5....from my store managers mouth at 6 am this morning..but i am in an east coast store..i highly suggest callin ur local wm and askin which sytem theyre usin..the armbands are a test sytem..

please check with ur local stores our east coast store IS NOT handin out armbands

east coast stores at least the ones in our district are not usin armbands its a test program.we're still workin out last minute kinks and and asigning associates ..

a 24 hour store is just that we close one day a year thats christmas day(although i look for the higherups to decide in the future to go 365) anyhow non doorbuster items go on sale at midnight and the hot items at 5..you CAN walk into a 24 hr store at anytime

my daughter's 23 but she still insists when she comes home for christmas for her pjs..mrs santa started leavin them on christmas eve when she was 2 because she had been extra good that year..when she was 21 i finally told her it was so shed look cute in the christmas mornin pics haha..left to her own there'd have been 6 years of little mermaid pjs in the pics..she'll be home this year and mrs santa will leave new pjs for her and her boyfriend its a small thing but im secretly glad she doesnt want to give it up..looking forward to the day i start buyin grandkids christmas pjs

at our store im keepin the itunes card behind the register in the electronics dept and we were told its an instore only price that will last till midnight sat or until they are all gone.. the laptops and tvs until midnight sunday or until all are gone ..our instructions are a limit of 2 itune cards no limit on the others

its not how much you give its that you do.. i help out with the angel tree at work and the smallest things can sometimes mean the world to those who dont have..thanks to all of you who have helped and will continue to...workin retail at the holidays doesnt always make it easy to see the kindness in people(especially when ur gettin beatup over a bf doorbuster lol) but as ive come to realize over the years spent on this site ya'll jus rock when the chips are down ...if you need a pick me up read thru some of the gottsdealers posts durin the holidays, it warms the heart to see strangers brought together willing to help others...of course while we're gettin those big ole deals try to remember the person ur bout to run down with the shoppin cart jus may be a fellow gottadealer lol..

i made paper angels one year when things were really tight budget wise for my tree i glued hooks to their heads, magnets on the back for the refrigarator and even glued some to a wreath..all you need is paper ribbon the kind that looks like a snake you have to unravel( but im sure wire ribbon would work too) wooden beads,spanish moss and small ribbon for bows.i added the little wooden heart to the bow but its optional %5Bimg%5Dhttp%3A//img833.imageshack.us/img833/5972/dsc00362o.th.jpg[/img] lol well i havent mastered addin pics but if ya click on it it will take you to a larger pic..sorry lol

id dress up as one of those walkin billboards and make sure it said all the doorbusters were located on the wrong side of the store so i could get to them first...im short i need an advantage lol

cool colored jump drives to hold school projects and such..if the boys are gamers online like xbox or world of warcraft you can buy giftcards for online time...play instruments? check out local music stores for giftcards they can buy guitar strings, sheet music etc..yes gas cards are always good and it seems such a little thing but we sell a crapload of batteries the day after christmas so prehaps an assortment of them or a battery charger.you can always ask dm or dd what gifts they got that need batteries

i was nine and it was goin to be the worst christmas ever..my mom after many months of bein sick passed away a few days before thanksgiving..i wasnt in any mood to open gifts that year until i saw i small flat package from her..inside were coloring books and an andy pandy book ,i looked at my dad and said im too old for coloring books..he smiled with tears in his eyes and said that was all mom could find in the hospital gift shop that she thought id enjoy...that year i understood the best gift of all wasnt wrapped in paper it was the neverending love of a mother....

if we were bringing back layaway there would have been training by now and a system in place for storage of the items..no such things at my wallieworld....i can tell u there is nowhere at my store to house items our backroom like many others is crammed already
