  1. This a huge hit or miss. But do you happen to have a Steve & Barry's University Store near u? I have been pretty lucky everytime I have gone especially for the teen boys in our family. Scored those heavy hoodies for $8-$10, they do have some shoes, coats and other items like I said it can be a hit or miss, unfortunately they don't have an online store.
  2. I believe in Santa and so do all of my kids 15, 13, 8, & 2. When the questions started about whether there was a Santa or not I explained that I believe in the "magic" of Christmas. I explain how we are "Santa's" to other children when we buy toys for the Angel Tree. There are "Santa's" all over the place and that is part of the fun for us now at Christmas to find the "real" santa's.

I have also been known to say "If you don't beleive, you don't receive"

So either way our house "BELEIVES"!!

  3. Not sure if this has been mentioned but you can go ahead and buy any games at the $ of the game your really wanting and then go back later, next week or whatever and exchange for the titles that you want.

  5. We have gotten the "food gadgets" before as a family gift. We have always had fun with them!

Depending on situations cost, etc. Our fav. family gift has been yearly memberships. Like the zoo or if their town has a really cool museum(our yearly memberships are failry inexpensive in our area) even Sam's Club or Costco.

Maybe a GC to the local mini-golf park or bowling alley.

We happen to love the gourmet popcorn or snack packs that come too during the holidays!

  6. Picked up a pack HM Perfume, Lotion, and make-up bag $13.87 this morning from Wal-mart. They also had a cute set of HM Lipglosses $4.84.

They were in the Christmas Perfume section. Both boxes only had about half of the box left so maybe 6 of each left. I am sure they have more in the back but it looks like it is going to be a hot seller this year!

Hmmm just checked ebay out of curiousity and the $14.00 sets are going for $21.00 plus S&H!! I never would have thought that people would be paying that much for them!

  7. There are some on ebay.

Here is a link to the prices at hallmark with pics!
