We will be at Kohl's first as well - we are looking to get some good deals on the 50% off toys, so i am hoping they have a good selection and quantity???

Amen to that - with 50% off a lot of their toys, Kohl's is my first stop too

I've only gone to CC as my 3rd or 4th stop around 7:30 ish in the am. The secret to checking out is the guy back in the auto/stereo installation corner. He has a cash register and will try to hide on BF, but i always use that register and only spend a couple of minutes there. The main problem i have is they have limited stock and it is hard to get the doorbusters. I have only found movies and cds on BF which if you go to WM you can price match

Bath and Body works has great antibacterial soap sales around BF or the wallflower plug ins - the other thing i buy is hand sanitizer b/c we live in the northeast and flu season is in full swing around christmas, most of the teachers use it and try to stock up on it:yup:

i see Kohl's has a lot of toys 50% off on BF. Two questions 1. will they have a lot/large selection of toys (i am particularly interested in the fisher price, lps and pp) and 2. Can i go in on Wednesday and put these toys on hold for 1 day, or will the bf toys have a different upc (i figured since it was 50% off they wouldn't have the different bar codes) TSM for any help!

I disagree - any tv over 42" you will see a definite difference. Spend the little bit extra now and get a 1080 instead of getting the 720p and spending a whole lot more in a couple of months b/c you are unhappy with the cheaper set:yup:

I find it rather ironic that Toys R Us did not threaten anyone (employees or otherwise that we are aware of), and their ad has still not been released. They must have very loyal ee's or printers - How jealous the big yellow smiley must be - lol:)

i bet wm will carry a name brand such as polaroid on the LCDs they offer this year...

I will email her now - as i have stated in previous threads, the main reason i am going to Target and BB this year is b/c of Walmarts hissy over their ad being posted. I am actually driving 40 minutes extra to go there this year and was very excited to see their ads and deals. Their being posted on GD will generate a lot of business for them, not hurt them - i tell everyone i work with about the deals i find on GD otherwise some of those folks wouldn't pay any attention to the sales at all.

I just looked at the Target ad and the Kmart thanksgiving ad and all i can say is Walmart shot themselves in the foot this year. I am normally a die hard Walmart BF shopper, but after the sucky sales last year and the big legal threat this year, i am happy with Target, Kmart, and am anxiously waiting for BB and CC - I don't really care at this point what Walmart has in their ad - Bring on BB:D

Anyone looking to buy Polly Pocket stuff on Black Friday - right now TRU has 30% off on all Polly stuff, and if you look in the Online deal thread, there is a $5 coupon off any PP purchase. I have been buying the 9.96 sets for $2.11 and the ranch set that is 19.99 i paid just over $9 for. You can only use 1 coupon per person, but i have been taking my ds with me. This coupon is good at ALL TRU stores. I checked with the service desk, and she said it is on their approved list.

My understanding is the same items will be on sale on line and in the stores- also, starting on 'cyber Monday' there is supposed to be one large secret item per day go on special sale, this should be advertised on the WM.com and some of the bf sites. Isn't unusual how they refuse to let GD post the bf ad, but will expect them to help get the word out about the secret sale items?

I just heard a rumor that WM will be having 24 items on 'special' sale on Thanksgiving Day and the list of items will be released the night b4

This ad is a great start - my dd will freak for that Shrek, and $10 off sale on $25 purchase Friday and Sat. rocks! Those pearls will be a nice addition to my dmil's stocking! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Brad - you are the king! Lists are great, but the scans give me such an adrenaline rush.

my kids are older (10 and 13) so i didn't pay much attention to the recall - i know it was lead based paint, so the only danger is if they put the toys in their mouth right? Just curious what to watch for b/c on BF i pick up birthday gifts for the rest of the year if i can find good sales

I am lucky - my dd wants an mp3 player, but isn't picky about what kind (whereas my ds HAD to have ipod) so bring on the deals. i am hoping for something 2gb for under $50:cheesy:

Lowe's in our town has the 3 pack of the large clorox wipes for 9.99 - only has the three different kinds (green disinfecting, orange and yellow)

there is no way that link is for the tv listed at $899...don't get too excited until we see the actual specs
