I think as BF gets closer and the tensions start to build, the letter will come. We should have a bet on which comes out first....the first BF ad or Walmart's letter!!

I had a curious cat a few years back. His first Christmas, he avoided the artificial tree for the first day, second day, we found him poking his head through the tree, from the center bracket. I took the tree apart and put a small piece of plywood in the center and he didn't go through the inside of the tree anymore, but he started jumping on the outside! He tied himself up in the lights multiple times. We ended up taking the tree down a week before Christmas, because we were afraid he would start a fire when we were out, and getting a smaller decorative tree that we kept on top of the TV Stand. (My mom still uses this today)

That for the $$$$ we shell out for these toys each year........the quality of these toys has dramatically gone down? Seriously! Within the last 5-7 years, I've noticed that I've had to take back toys, but each year....the number is increasing. First it was about 4 out of 25, the next was 6 out of 28, next was 7 out of 39 and last year 1/5th of the presents I bought my kids had to be returned because of breakage, damage or missing pieces. Does the toy manufacturers drop their QC in order to increase their volume??
Just wondering if anyone else noticed or was it just me.

M'eh..........TRU releases these "Lists" every year!! IMHO, it's a ploy to get kids frenzied up about the upcoming Holiday and parents ulcers about the amount of money they'll have to spend on each one of these gifts!! Pretty soon Target will release a similar list with 3-4 of their toys that are "Sold Exclusivly at Target!' Same with Kolh's! Same with WalMart! Etc! Etc! Etc!

WHAT?????!!! I always fill and refill all of my family's scripts at CVS and I have never gotten a $25 gift card (or ANY gift card for that matter). Last year I spent like $2000 on presciptions. You are lucky!
Same here!!! I never got that....I barely get my extrabucks coupon since the cashiers are too lazy to ask for my phone number so I could get them!!

I usually get them before BF! They last a few weeks then go, but this year they came about a week and a half ago! I just don't want to be around anyone during that time!

That sounds like a great idea.
You should try again next year and mention how nice it would be to have a vanilla latte with out having to waste time on lunch breaks driving to a coffee shop and they would save some money too.
