They may be compatable with Lego, but the quality of the plastic is not. Lego is made of ABS plastic, much stronger stuff than Mega Block, Best Lock, etc., that use the type like plastic model kits.

Some Lego should hit the clearence shelf this summer, late July I think.

Last year's Kmart BF was B2G1 FREE. Kind of a bummer, only 30% off each, or even less if you can't find them all at the same price.

Toys are still 30% w/ few at 50% at Moline, IL. Across the river in Davenport, IA it's even worse with hardly any thing at 30%.

If no one can say it, I'll say it for you: Walmart looks like a warehouse with its high open ceiling and itmes on the floor and customers who look like they just woke up ( messy hair, missing teeth, dirty old clothes) and Target customers just got back from a nice dinner out ( clean nice clothes, hair at least combed and nice make-up. The Boss once said she can go to both places on the same day and have two totaly different moods.

Was reading this thread just because we ( The Boss and I) miss shopping at "Thrifty Acears" so much. Hometown is Brighton, MI and used to live in Ann Arbor too. Wish they would just strech out a little more out west, the closest one is like 3 hours away. Sorry, I can't find a spell check here, is there one?

Count me in, :yup:" Don't you think the kids have enough toys ?!?!?!?" Can't we get rid of some of this stuff " (yeah, like the cheap junk the grand parents get them, even after they've asked what the kid's would like as gifts). She grew up poor, while was middle class and I love the "Hunt" i.e. models, action figures,trading cards, now its Lego for me and the boys.

All the same here in Moline, IL -30% to 50% off toys still. Haven't tried "outwest" in Davenport, IA- they seem to not have as many deals as Moline.

I don't have it either for the same reason, you may find opinons on lugnet.com the most popular lego forum.

9v are not made anymore, and the R/C line is about to be cancelled in favor of something along the lines of bluetooth. Its going to come out in 2009, so I'm holding out till then for the kids. thats all I know of it but you can read all the buzz at lugnet.com under trains.

Are they nuts??? I checked they're Lego page, they're selling things at other stores normal prices, i.e. KK Dracus Sale 9.97 Motion Power Helicopter $62.00 Sale $49.97 I'm a regular price hunter for Lego and this is no sale to me.

i just checked their web site and it says the newspaper flyer will be out on the 13th but the sale starts the next Saturday on the 20th.
