This is not the Black Friday I remember. I've been MIA the past few years but me and my son walked into Walmart Friday morning before we took the pup to the park and the parking lot was more empty than a typical weekday? No lines wrapping around each isle to walk past the bins of deals, no register lines wrapped around 5 isles, we just grabbed our stuff, went to one of the empty registers and left. Lame, I miss watching line cutters sprint into the store as the doors opened with a bunch of people trying to yell but too busy running themselves to get to their stuff lol.

I went in to pick up my order and was told someone already picked it up the day before, Just me and my husband had authorization to pick it up, and we were both there looking at each other. Apparently a worker gave someone else our similar item and scanned our sticker that was on that box. They then allowed that person to sign off on our credit card. So the worker gave us the item we purchased and did not have us sign anything since our credit card was already charged. I guess we were part of a 3 person mix up, and whoever signed for our item will probably never have a bill for it since we did not sign anything to receive ours.

I wish they would add free shipping to their lightening deals, sometimes I just don't have anything else to add to reach the free shipping total needed.

Normally, I love Newegg, but I'm a little upset at them right now. I bought their $35 Xbox Live gold 12 month card on ebay yesterday. Everything was fine 'Till I checked my Email a couple hours ago and said they refunded my payment as they cannot honor the deal as it was more popular than they thought. Well sorry, I can't stand when people reneg on a deal. I went to their normal website and sure enough, they have them at regular price, still for sale. I can see running out of stock and something went wrong with the system over selling, but you should honor what you sold since it's still in stock.

Yeah, I know plenty of anti-BFers. The ones that kill me are the grumpy ones that think people who go out and shop, ruin the holidays. Most act like it is beneath them to go out amongst the crowds, which really isn't bad where I live. Then there are the ones at Thanksgiving dinner who, after listening to others bash BF, will start acting all indignant if they get asked if they are going BF shopping, like somehow it's cool if they denounce it. Then just before you head out, they will ask if you could pick up a couple things for them. -Sure, it was fun watching you all laugh at us 'idiots' as we made our plans with ads all over the place. Hey, nothing wrong with saving money and being able to buy extra gifts for your family and friends.

Best Buy is sending me a $50 GC for my canceled camera, just got the email. While it stinks I won't have that present for my son to open, it is a great gesture on Best Buys part. I am very pleased to see they are making an effort to satisfy consumers and I never called or emailed to complain to them. I know I read they are taking alot of flak in the news for cancellations, but this is a step in the right direction and I will not hesitate to shop there in the future now.

Thanks for the replies.I find it very odd the L-Max would not come with a cover.I found a spot on their website under 'support-find answers' that you can order a new one for $3.I'm going to find out for sure if it was suppose to be in the box,but as a last resort I guess $3 is acceptable. I bought a brand new L-Max for my son as a Christmas present from Kohls on sale,ended up paying $55.Although I was wondering if anyone would know if the L-Max is suppose to come with a cover,the one I bought does not have one and the box did not appear opened or returned.I sent an email to the company but I probly will not get a reply till late next week.
